Park

Nature & Parks

Park has playgrounds & sports areas, plus a Play Island with slides attached to historic buildings.

Fun, nice park! Parking is easy in its own lot. Love the small made lake. The inside building have play structures but seem to be worn down. Overall a really nice park and with all types of birds/ducks and have turtles.

This park has a beautiful environment. The grassland is green, big and beautiful. The game guide in the middle is very popular with children. There are many bridges, slides, castles and some in the game island. Children can play games and chase each other here. They all like to come here. There is a circle of artificial water around the bath. The water is blue and beautiful. There are many small fish and turtle shells. We like it here.

Just Good Vibes! I have visited there 2 times since last 2 months. The atmosphere is so pure and peaceful. It is managed so well. Lake is so clean. If you want to enjoy a day with your family this is the place you can choose. Soul soothing exeperience!

Heritage park is huge with lots of green fields and historic place to look at cannonball and other historic theme figures. I love that it has a lovely pond and lots of area to walk in. Great to take scenic pictures or wedding photos, and a great cheap date. This was a random park I stumbled upon after getting lost. I recommend coming here. Just watch out for the poops from the gooses.

Jack C — Google review

It's a really nice park a place where kids can definitely let there imagination run wild!! But parents be sure to take a canopy for shade!! The park has minimal shade you really have to look for it it's a park that has alot of sun!

Esperanza L — Google review

One of the nicest parks in Cerritos. The playgrounds can get crowded in the late afternoon noon. Many people come here to take wedding/quinceañera photos because it's quite picturesque. Lot of birds here as well...hence the bird flu warning signs around the park.

Jih W — Google review

This little park has a lot to offer such as a playground for little ones, a picnic area, a man-made pond with sweet spots for pictures. Restrooms are very clean.

Mahsa م — Google review

Incredible design. Very fun to see buildings like Boston here in the park. Very fun to live here.

Mark Y — Google review

By its design it was once a great park for kids but it's in desperate need of a renovation. I can't believe the citizens of the area are not in an uproar over the parks and recreations disregard for a park worthy of attention.

D.R. L — Google review

it's beautiful park with calm atmosphere..I always goes there to relax or having fun..love the ducks swimming in pond. it has playground as well. Restrooms are clean . Even you can plan for picnic or wedding shoot here too.

Monika K — Google review

Beautiful park. Open and clean. The water features are relaxing with an explorable decorated island. Layout is great use of space. Nice to walk around or sit down for lunch. Also quite a bit of wildlife to observe, mostly different birds and some turtles.

such an amazing Park in an amazing neighborhood with so friendly people all around and u may find group of immigrant goose, u will enjoy it if u want a peace of mind

A.O. M — Google review

Lots of activities at this park. People bring their kids to feed ducks even though there are signs states do not feed wild life here. There is an island with kids playground inside. Setting is beautiful for photography. In Summer, there are free concert in the park.

Frances P — Google review

Love this park. People take so many photos here. I have seen people take prom pics and Quince pics here.

Elena T — Google review

This park is peaceful. People use this park to take photographs and throw events. Only things you need a permit for events. There is a pond for ducks and turtles. There is slides and a play area. Bathrooms are close. Ice cream truck passes. Right off of the 92 freeway and there are shopping centers close and eateries. This isn't a sit down park for your children you will run around with them. Also, make sure your children take showers after, ducks and pigeons are dirty and carry bacteria

Yella M — Google review

Wonderful and safe park. Plenty of turtles, ducks and geese to see near the castle in the middle. The island closes at 6 so be sure to get there early. Be careful of where you walk on the sidewalk, you might end up stepping on bird stuff. Otherwise 10/10.Also a great place for prom pictures.

Mysticalforever — Google review

Took a large group of school children here for a lunch event. There was plenty of space in covered picnic table seating area (must be reserved) and playground equipment. Lake surrounds a re-creation of historic 'Paul Revere' buildings with another playground area. Great place to fill a couple hours with kids.

Manny F — Google review

If you have kids that are 11 and under, they'll love coming here. Wonderfully well themed. Great activities. What kid doesn't like a little island in the middle of the park to play on?

Rogan G — Google review

A big green lawn, a children’s play equipment and a small heritage island surrounded by water channel, with many water birds. The heritage building on the island was closed, so can not describe what’s there. The lawns and the pathway around the outer edge of this island is also not kept clean.Good only for children who love to play on equipment there

Virinder V — Google review

A great meeting and melding place with a slice of Americana Art!I enjoy stopping by here along the way from work, as this place is good for bringing prepared food to eat at one of the many picnic tables, doing a quick stretch and workout and to meet friends for a game of field sports or basketball. Team sports will often involve incoming groups and fans as well. The park can accommodate organizations, family and company picnics, the likes of whom may also utilize the park for all there is to offer! There’s a front office with attached restrooms and a larger restroom on the backside, near Arabella Street. The Americana Art is unique to see in any city park, tho here the replica buildings and deck areas double as offering small gathering spots and of the play island, playhouse features! The usual park playgrounds are also available outside the pond.Turtles and waterfowl can be seen all around the pond, by the island. I had to watch my step along the way! There’s covered bridge crossings, waterfalls and a little ship, where imaginations run wild, without ever leaving the port! The landscape with its features makes an excellent backdrop for photos. Whether to top off a get-together, or for special occasion photography, the choice of convenient locations could hardly be better! The parking lot is available for a sizable presence, with an additional lot and street-side parking along Arabella Street. My only negative here is the lack of natural shade tree cover away from the main parking lot. Then again, that could benefit the picture taking, with the tradeoff of more even brightness to capture the people, and with the created island and pond, fulfilling my need for naturalness, in a better light!

Cerritos Towne Center

This is the first time that I have been here at Cerritos Town center but I must tell everyone bring your family over it's very very nice plenty of stores to shop around nice and clean parking lot safe plenty of parking for everyone. There is also a variety of places to eat and also the movie theater. There is even a pet store for pet lovers. I enjoyed my shopping. Sincerely Jesus Banda's honest reviews.

Great place to shop with the family and hang out.I am glad this is close to our home for convenience. Less people to deal with while shopping. Specially during these times. I preferred to shop in less crowded or no crowd at all. So this place provides comfort food, nice outdoor dining for families. Customer service is always great in an the stores/ restaurants, staffing are helpful and the place is always in order and very clean.

This was just my second time here to go watch a movie at the Edwards Theater, also known as Regal Theater's. I came a little earlier this time and was actually able to see more of the stores that are here in the Cerritos Towne Center. I haven't tried any of the variety of food you can find here but I don't doubt I will soon. It looks like a good place just to hang out, indoors or outdoors. At the Edwards Theater they were very nice and the place is well kept. I really enjoy the reclining seats they have. We should be back soon, no doubt about that.

Grizzly G — Google review

Very clean and beautiful shopping center with a great theatre.

Lori A — Google review

It was my first time trying out this Middle Eastern buffet with my family and it was actually delicious! For the price, it was okay... I loved the hummuses, the lamb, the types of rice and baklava. Other than that, everything else is just okay... Be careful for their pricing with the kids and their ages... Because they charge my 6-year-old for a full-blown adult in the end. Because of this miscommunication I'm not coming back because putting two and two together with a food and the mistake and pricing it's not something I would come back for due to the price... It was delicious for a one-time experience, but I'd rather just go to a regular halal spot where there is actual delicious! Juicy kabobs ... That's also one thing they had beef kabobs that were kind of dry and I've had Middle Eastern food and Middle Eastern friends all of my life... They don't have chicken kabobs or anything... To end my review, the place was a great atmosphere, we had good services from the waiters to the bus boys, the food was okay, and it was very clean... I just would not come back because they did not have all the great Middle Eastern food that I would have expected and for the mistake that they did with the age and the pricing... I told the lady that I wanted to pay and she said you have to pay in the end... I deliberately wanted to pay because my brother ends up paying for the bill without my knowledge... I got upset because she had him pay for the bill when I wanted to pay for it initially...

D D — Google review

Clean, lots of places to shop and eat, didn't feel crowded even though there were definitely a lot of people there. The food court seating was well taken care of and had enough tables together to seat our large group of 16 at one table comfortably.

This place is so big a so beautiful.. I love all the shopping without the mall madness. Every store I went in was so welcoming. I will definitely make this a regular shopping center

Cerritos towne center has been open since the late 1990's. Stores and come and gone, there was a borders book store that I believe is a pet smart now. Theres a small Edward's theater and cool places to eat. This place has always been a fun experience, somewhere to just hang and chill with friends or family. Some parts of the center need renovating. But other then that, I reccomend for a night out. Especially during christmas time, they have a tree!

Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts

Performing arts theater

Concerts & Shows

Theaters

Modern performance theater staging concerts, dance, theater & other events such as banquets.

This is a gorgeous venue with excellent sound. I was in the nosebleed seats and still was able to see the stage clearly, and the sound was perfect. I was there for a Motown music show and the place rocked! It felt pretty covid safe, as they checked for proof of vaccination at the door (they asked to see a vaccination card plus picture ID like a driver's license) and everyone wore masks. It was an older crowd; a lot of people wore actual N95 masks. And there was no eating or drinking at the seats, people kept their masks on for the whole show. The place was at about 50% capacity, maybe less, so it didn't feel crowded. The ushers were all very helpful and friendly, assisting to help you find your seat as soon as you step through a seating entrance door. Will be going again!

Helen A — Google review

The Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts in Cerritos is pure pleasure to see any of your favorite performers or groups. The venue is easy to get to, and there is ample parking, along with basic refreshment offerings. The theater is intimate and elegant, and every seat in the house is a good one. We are looking forward to seeing a few more concerts in the future. We were here to see Illuminate, one of the season's winners of America's Got Talent. It was a very entertaining and high-energy show!

Kelly H — Google review

Beautiful venue. Excellent, excellent, very clean. Please remember, the young pretty ladies seating you are VOLUNTEERS, don't give them a hard time. They try very hard. Hawaiian concert was amazing.

David W — Google review

First time to this venue to see Trace Adkins. It's a really small theater so I don't think there are any bad seats. Older demographic when I went so not too many people were standing. They have a small bar with snacks and drinks in the lobby.

Mark Q — Google review

Fantastic venue. Absolutely love this place for concert. The Staff and the crew are also amazing!!We were there for Cannibal & The Headhunters 60th anniversary. The Latin show was fantastic and we had a lot of fun backstage with our friends.

Laurie L — Google review

We had a great experience for this concert. Staff was kind and friendly. It is a very beautiful place with great seats. The roots and boots concert was awesome!

Christina P — Google review

A beautiful modern venue that can accommodate a variety of performances. The space offers generous seating options and choice of floor level or raised stage. Here hauling production equipment for a concert and considering its location in the LA area there is ample space for maneuvers of large trucks/trailers and buses. The venue management is very friendly and helpful, though not all the hands were as enthusiastic and willing to hustle when needed.Certainly look forward to being back. If you have an opportunity to enjoy a show here jump on it. There is easy access to hotels, retail and eateries all within a few blocks. The location is clean, quiet and convenient.

JC N — Google review

This was the first time I ever attended this performing center and it was beautiful. It doesn't look like much on the outside but once you walk in it is surprisingly beautiful inside. Came to watch my cousin perform and the concert was great. Can't wait to come back next year.

Eric H — Google review

The Cerritos for the Performing Arts is a great concert venue. Every seat in the house is a good seat, and they have great bands. I saw Foreigner there on Friday and went back on Saturday to see the Spinners and the Commodores. Both concerts were amazing!

Diana R — Google review

Cool smaller venue. All seats have a great view and even have old school theater boxes. Wish they offered more shows. Easy to get in and out with free parking. Would highly recommend checking this out for a show.

Dave Koz, Jonathan Butler, and EVERYONE was Absolutely Awesome! I actually went alone for the first time, and I'll definitely be doing it again. I really Love how the Fans were of all ages, races, etc. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone! ☆☆☆☆☆

Van S — Google review

This is a very pleasant performance space, not too big, not too small, with good sound and comfortable seats. Prices are less than in Los Angeles, and the drive from West LA is no longer than to an evening performance in downtown LA There's plenty of above-ground parking and, with the usher's assistance, we were able to access our seats quietly after the performance had started. The foyer is large, bathrooms nearby, and staff eager to help. It was a pleasure to attend the Center and will definitely be added to my preferred venues for performances.

Andrea S — Google review

Amazingly beautiful, and well set up place, with great seating and sound. Wonderfully friendly, professional and kind staff! Thank you for making my first, but definitely not my last, visit, FANTASTIC!

Don M — Google review

Really nice looking performing art center. I love the classic style look of theater from back in the days. The staff there was very nice, friendly and helpful in directions to when and where your seats are available and where the restrooms were at which is on the 1st and 3rd floor. There was only one bartender unfortunately so the line was a but long but he worked hard and still had a nice attitude. The concert of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was great and for me sitting in box 108 I felt I had the best views definitely felt the up close and personal. The seats were comfortable and I had my own rail and mini balcony. The sound was pretty good compared to the big arenas I've been to. There's the Sheraton hotel located in front of the center which is just walks away. Then there's plenty of eateries and shops across the street in a nice area before you catch the show. Hope to come back and catch another concert here.

Very large library! It is very beautiful with artwork everywhere including a sculpture garden! Unfortunately the interior portion was closed as I went during a holiday, but the outside was still beautiful and peaceful. Would study here often if I lived closer.

Came here with the grandma and had a great experience. Though some books are a bit dated, the building, attractions, and decorations are certainly outstanding. A giant fish-tank wall and dinosaur skeleton are very cool!

The place is worth visiting. Highly recommended!Note: Unless you are a Cerritos resident, you cannot use this library. Modern, clean, beautiful library in the small city. Impressed by the aquarium and dinosaur model in the reading area. Worth staying for a nice afternoon.

YS C — Google review

The area around the Children's Library is hands down amazing! 👏 it's got an aquarium that greets you as soon as you enter the building. They have large-scale books that you walking between as you enter in the children's part. There, you will see an enormous lighthouse, a giant tree, and a full scale dinosaur name Stan. Such a neat area. ✨️

Jennifer W — Google review

This beautiful library was exactly what it looked like in pictures. It is more like a museum that you should spend a day exploring. There is a beautiful fish tank in the front and the kids section is overwhelming. They also have a book sale so you can buy a book instead of trying to become a member.

Sari M — Google review

My baby and I had a great time in the children’s section of Cerritos Library. Everything was clean, books are organized by author, there are other language books like: Spanish, Korean, and others. My son and I enjoyed our time here and plan to return in the future. This library is huge! Everyone keeps the place looking nice, clean, dust free and organized!

Sandra C — Google review

This is the coolest library I have ever been too! I am so glad a high school friend posted about her visit her on Facebook. So we had to see for ourselves. My 8 your old nephew was saying he didn't really want to go to the library. As we were approaching the library and going in toward the entrance, and we were seeing all of the different things. Just out front he was so excited to go inside. He even picked out a couple of books and sat down and read them in the children's section. This is a great place to bring your children to keep the libraries alive and to keep education thriving. The other cool thing is it has a aquarium and a reading room for adults as well as the neatest...coolest Children's Library I've seen in my entire life! Don't miss out on this local gem. I honestly would love to work here.

Jeri M — Google review

One of my favorite public buildings for it’s architectural, interior decorating and landscaped work of art!The Maurice Fleishman (architect) inspired design has encouraged other cities around the country to emulate the innovation with their own complexes. The library was the world’s first building to have an exterior of titanium plating. The multi-level complex features an entrance lobby that includes an elegant reading room, a prehistoric exhibit and a huge see-thru fish tank, the other side of which is the children’s room. As a former lighthouse keeper, the children’s room caught my attention with a lighthouse mock-up. There’s also a t-rex skeleton and a tree inside the same room. The kids really seemed to be enjoying their time here! There’s the usual sorted volumes of books, periodicals, media, study areas and library computers.A large area on the top floor includes the dedicated tech zone, where separate workstation booths give privacy, power and possibly ethernet to users. There’s a sizable collection of cd music and other electronic media for members to check out.As if that’s not enough, I also admire the efforts to transcend the physical library to the high tech, electronic services.Nowadays, online editions and streaming media have been replacing books, audio and video hard copy. The library now has amassed a sizable online offering for members to use. With premium library services, checkout and wifi use is limited to card carrying members. Residents of Cerritos automatically qualify for free cards, as are property owners, business operators, students of local schools and those employed within Cerritos. Those who don’t meet the criteria can purchase an annual library card for $100, or just access the enhanced wifi for $5.00 per day. There’s reference desks and check out counters. Restrooms are on the first floor. As mentioned in the Cerritos City Hall review, parking is free and includes an underground section.

An absolutely amazing Library! No, we did not have a library card for this gem of a Public Library, however, it is worth visiting just to see! The Children's Library is amazing: they have a huge fish tank, a massive tree in the middle of the library, a dinosaur skeleton, a rocket, etc. What an amazing place to get kids into reading & learning! The adult section has a good selection of books, newspapers, reading rooms, etc. All in all, a great library!

Maija W — Google review

It's fun to visit the Cerritos Library and I love how amazing the inside is with lots of wide open spaces! I can get inspired to write and illustrate my own children's stories under my company named Once A Butterfly.

Franklin M — Google review

his is a one of the most coolest libraries I have ever been to. I mean some colleges have some nice libraries but I’m talking about city libraries. It has a huge fish tank, makes you feel like you are in a different world, and even has a T. rex skeleton on display.Like it is a museum and a library mixed into one. It also has multiple floors, rooms, and even a huge outside with even a water area. If you just think a library is just a place w books, you gotta come visit here. Words can’t describe fully how cool this place

Wattie L — Google review

The library was beautiful and filled with history. I plan to go back in the future. It does not take the LA County Library card. They have their own. It's free if you have a Cerritos address.

Whitley C — Google review

Extremely clean library. They have a section for all your needs. The kids section is fantastic. It has something for all their curiosity. A big fish tank takes almost the whole wall. A big dinosaur and much much more. It has a little theater set aside for story time, you have to pre-register The library has a space designated for group study. A quiet seating area for individual reading. Computer section for adults separate from kids. Plenty books to read and things to see. Many activities to sign up for.

Rob H — Google review

Excellent Children's Library section within Cerritos Public Library. Aquarium, Dinosaur, Lighthouse, Space Shuttle, books, and a reading theater. Also plenty of computer and tablet stations.

Justin B — Google review

First time there it was really nice. My daughter took her son since we are one spring break

Barbara H — Google review

It's a beautiful place, more of a combo museum/ library. I was there for the first time and spent almost two hours just browsing art exhibits as well as book collections. The children's section is magical and inspirational.Plenty of free parking.Only downside is if you're not a resident or fill other requirements, there is an annual membership fee to borrow books or media. Clean and fun atmosphere. Kids love the food court variety and the free play area is just right for little ones and the family. Place is well attended, but not overwhelmingly populated, nice walking throughout.

Stop by for some food on Sunday. There was a large parking lot. I found a spot right nearby the entrance. The location was a bit old but cleanliness was pretty much decent (although not like spotlessly clean). The mall map was very much not updated. I had a hard time finding a few restuarants. Google maps was not accurate in the mall either. The best part is the kid zone. They have a lot of area for playing and the little train ride which cost a few bucks.

If you are here in West Covina, California, Plaza Mall is a saviour for you. You will find this place as a destination for your electronic accessories (Best Buy), mobile networks (T mobile and AT &T) clothes and apparel, eateries, restaurants and many other outlets where you can buy products.

The most interesting aspect of the "Plaza, of West Covina", is her prominent location, which provide easy accessibility to everyone, irrespective of any personal health hinderance. It’s a place that provide comfort to shop, rest, eat and play, it therefore, provide to everyone, anything and everything, that add comfort to life thereby, make life enjoyable and pleasurable. It’s a place that provide a home to me, away from home and that’s why I spend my most available time there.

Clean atmosphere... impressive detailing and a abundance of memorabilia items fill the store. I had the free veterans day choice of a pulled pork sandwich or a fried chicken dinner. I unfortunately had the pulled pork sandwich which I was disappointed with... the pork was dry and tasteless... the spicy bbq sauce lacked and heat and intensity. I should have ordered the fried chicken.

Inland shopping that works. I went to the Golds gym here. Lots of local stores that cater to local needs. Plentiful parking

Janina P — Google review

Nice little afternoon lunch with the family and a quick stop at Hot Topic. Beautiful clean and plenty of Sunday afternoon buzz. The food court has got a little bit of everything for anyone. Looking forward to going again when we are back into the area.

Not as good as it once was, only because so much has shut down. Still like to come walk around though.

This mall is thriving. It's clean. It's busy. It's packed with people. Ground floor Macy's is nice. Plenty of clothing store. We avoid Rachel's soap shop for their aggressive sales tactics. We need more mid tier stores here.

BLeu L — Google review

Absolutely love this place. It is a favorite shopping center of mine specially Nordstrom rack. We know the rack has good deals, but this rack in particular the best!

Amanda G — Google review

Beware of theses ppl lots of crime these call the police department if you see them. A man stold three pairs of shoes and ran out and started driving.

None G — Google review

I haven't been to this mall in a few years. I went to go see my daughter at work. She works at that mall. I went around 5 and had an easy time finding parking. The parking lot was clean and also has charging stations for electric cars. The mall had a good amount of foot traffic but it was not over crowded. The stores were clean and the staff I did talk to were nice and friendly.

Dominique M — Google review

Mainly I order on line park and pick up my order. I am an older person so very convenient. Lots of parking. I enter in my phone I have arrived. Enter my location and quite swiftly my order is brought to my car by a cordial customer service person.

The Korean Friendship Bell is a monumental bell donated to the United States by the Republic of Korea in 1976 as a symbol of international unity. The bell chimed only on special occasions, like the Fourth of July and Korean Independence Day, but its expansive views of Catalina Island made it a popular tourist destination. It is now located in Angels Gate Park near downtown San Pedro.

This is one of the best hidden gems in San Pedro! We stopped here before heading over to the fish market and so glad we did! Great views and well kept park. I could see locals using this as a great place for meditation, family time & flying kites. There were a lot of people doing that when we went. Parking isn’t huge & I’m not even sure where else you could park but out on the street…the park slopes down to the beach area so I’m sure there’s more parking there….Looks like they close it at night. Wish we had more time here. We will definitely be back to do more exploring!

Aki M — Google review

It's a beautiful Korean style monument! In addition to it, the park has a basketball court, walking paths, and at that height, the view is incredible🌅I was there in the evening at sunset, in such moments you realize how beautiful nature is 🙌🏼If you decide to go there in the morning or in the evening, dress warmly because there is a very strong cold wind and it's easy to catch a cold🤧

KSV — Google review

It looks to be a historical park with scenic views. This can be a place you can spend the day with family and friends. It is so peaceful and has a vast beautiful ocean view. I recommend this place if you’re looking to just hang out for the day, a nice walk in park, sit and take photos, and enjoy a beautiful view. Make sure to get a close up look of the friendship bell and read the story of the friendship bell and how it came to be here. There is plenty of parking space and there is no fee. The local people are nice and friendly.

Jemellee M — Google review

Used to come here often. Always nice to visit and enjoy the views toward PV as well as the lighthouse and the breakwater. Plenty of parking. Very quiet during the week. Not a whole lot of people around. And this morning the marine layer hasn’t burned off yet and the gentle ocean breeze felt great. Perfect for another warm day in SoCal in mid-July.

H J — Google review

Very fun stop on the top of the ridge. Parking is available above and below the bell. The grass is very well maintained and perfect for laying out and relaxing. It is very windy at all times. Perfect for flying a kite. The bell is actually roped off and the log used to ring the bell is locked. There are a few random slabs of concrete that are scattered about through the the property. Saw some people roller skating around. Might be the thing to do here?

CJay T — Google review

Absolutely gorgeous park with a beautiful commemorative bell. Completely unplanned, but the best find in South Bay the day we visited. The detail on the building itself is gorgeous and well maintained. The bell is enormous!Families were flying kites in the wind, enjoying sitting on the grass in the sun, and taking in the ocean view. Family friendly place to head - we even got lucky with an ice cream truck on the corner.Parking can be tight and was very full when we arrived. Recommend going earlier in the day before it gets packed.

Fo N — Google review

Walking along the Pacific coastline, soaking in the gentle breeze, and relishing the vibrant hues of the sunset was an absolute delight. The soft grass beneath provided a comfortable seat as I watched the sun dip below the horizon, painting the sky in a mesmerizing array of colors. Turning around, the panoramic view extended all the way to San Diego, adding an extra layer of awe-inspiring beauty to the experience. It was a serene moment, connecting with nature and feeling grateful for the stunning vistas that surrounded me.

Siriously00 — Google review

An historic location with beautiful views of the pacific ocean. Also a basketball court. Grass area to relax while watching the sun go down. However there's a curfew (closes at dusk). Parking lot is limited, there's parking down the hill. Also, pathways to take a stroll with a friend or a love one.

Dee T — Google review

This place is BEAUTIFUL. The coastline is beautiful and the bell was also quite interesting. This place is very good for sitting down and hanging out.(They were also doing a Juneteenth event when we went and I felt very empowered and touched by the song. )

Lynn Z — Google review

I wanted to see the beach before I leave California and I saw this place on google maps.. Glad I stopped by, it was very beautiful to see.. the only challenge with this place is limited amount of parking space available.. But I do recommend checking this place out it’s beautiful

Tiphlizs V — Google review

I have been to San Pedro a few times before, but I always miss this spot on the hill overlooking the coast. The view from this location is always great, especially during the spring and summer months when a lot of wildflowers abound. There are plenty of ideal photo spots with a great backdrop of the ocean, the skies, and flora.

Jonathan-and-Nimfa D — Google review

Definitely worth going! One of the best historical monuments in town and the view is amazing even with the fog. Was very easy to get in and out of and you can spend as much or as little time as you want there. Plenty of grass space and there is even a playground for kids.

Evan — Google review

I've lived in southern california, my whole life and had never heard of this place nor had I ever been there. I'm really grateful to my friend who brought me there. It is a beautiful bell and a symbol of peace during the Carter. Administration between korea and the united states. It sits on a bluff and it is beautiful to look out over the ocean and you can even see whales.Out in the ocean from there. It's not a lot to see there, but it is a beautiful spot to take a little break and enjoy the ocean and the beautiful bell.

Renay P — Google review

This place is amazing, it’s not only a reminder of the friendship between the USA and Korea, it’s also beautiful place for a walk. I noticed a lot of people who brought the chairs and just enjoyed the sunset. For kids, there is a playground. Also there is a basketball court. And the view from the top is amazing. Waves that there were adorable.

Nikole L — Google review

The Korean Friendship Bell is a large and intricately designed bronze bell housed in a stone pavilion located in San Pedro, Los Angeles. This bell, known as the "Bell of Friendship," was a gift from South Korea to the United States in 1976, commemorating the bicentennial of American independence and celebrating the friendship between the two nations. The pavilion, modeled after traditional Korean architecture, is called the "Belfry of Friendship" or "Pavilion of Friendship" and offers a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean. The bell itself is struck only on special occasions, such as Independence Day, Korean Liberation Day, and New Year's Day, producing a deep and resonant sound. The site, situated within Angel's Gate Park, is a popular spot for both locals and tourists, providing a peaceful setting for reflection and appreciation of cultural ties. If you enjoy exploring historical and cultural landmarks, the Korean Friendship Bell is definitely worth a visit.

Chief K — Google review

A must see. Beauty and calmness. Plenty of grass to set up, picnic or chill. The wind on top of the mountain is perfect for flying a kite. Dogs are allowed, just clean up after them please. There's a pretty cool outdoor basketball court. The grounds are kept up pretty well. Very impressed.

Denise A — Google review

I had the most wonderful day at Korean Long Beach Park with my furry companion! The park's serene atmosphere and beautiful surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing day out. My dog absolutely loved exploring the spacious grounds and playing in the designated areas.

David A — Google review

A very peaceful but windy little park with a great view. We usually grab a Busy Bees sandwich and eat here. It's nice that they have a little playground for children. Restrooma re always open during open times.

El_Pito S — Google review

Beautiful ocean view cliffside cultural installment. The bell was a gift from Korea in 1981. There is also a nice playground and basketball courts with plentiful parking. Excellent spot for golden hour photos minus the wind.

Joe H — Google review

I love to come here and make VR Troopers references. All jokes aside, it's a beautiful park with a lot of history. It has a nice breeze and a great view of the ocean. It's one of my favorites places to bring friends truly putting the "friendship" in the Bell of Friendship.Be warned, this is a very popular park and landmark with a small parking lot. Parking may not be the easiest on especially busy days but I promise it's worth it.

Jimmy A — Google review

A calm and beautiful park overlooking the Catalina Islands, sunsets and sunrise is the time to be at this place. Great place to have a picnic or even play a basketball match at the court.

Surbhit P — Google review

Korean Friendship Bell is by the beach, offers both cultural allure and leisurely charm. Its intricate design and historical significance make for a captivating visit, while nearby picnic spots and kite-flying areas add to the tranquil atmosphere. A perfect blend of history and relaxation awaits at this coastal gem.

Ann K — Google review

The Korean Bell in San Pedro is my happy place. I am able to re-center every time I come here. There is a play area for the kiddos, plenty of green space, and basketball courts. It is a great place to have a picnic, fly a kite & grab some soft-serve ice cream . The Ice cream truck is usually there on Saturdays.

BIG D — Google review

The bell is set in a pagoda like structure which was constructed on the site by 30 craftsmen flown over from Korea. This is is a 12-foot tall, 17-ton gift from South Korea that marked the U.S. Bicentennial. The Korean Friendship Bell celebrates the relationship between U.S. and Korea.

Jhetrorx — Google review

This is a small but nicely kept park. Along with the bell, there is a full concert basketball court and great views of Long Beach to LA. There was a filming taking place during my visit which was interesting to watch.

Jamaine G — Google review

A lovely place that offers an open field where you can share with your family and friends, it also offers a spectacular view of the ocean and the best of Long Beach. It is worth coming to see it.

Maritime museum

Museums

The Battleship USS Iowa Museum is a beautiful and fascinating maritime museum that features exhibits about the ship's history and that of the United States Navy. It is permanently moored in San Pedro Bay and can be explored by visitors from its decks, bridges, and cabins. The museum was built in 1943 and served during various wars including World War II, the Korean War, and the Cold War.

A quick stop 2 hour tour of this magnificent battleship that plied the waters in service of the United States from World War 2 to its final decommissioning in 2011 to become the floating museum it is today. The self guided tour takes you to nearly every quarter of the ship. There are other exhibits not associated with the Iowa aboard.Aside from various small bits aboard screwed down to avoid breakage by guests...the Iowa looks as though she could set sail with a hardy crew ready to helm the ship.Docents roam the deck ready with history and facts. The cost for 4 adults is a healthy $95 + change. There is of course discounts for students, seniors and veterans. Is it worth it?I say yes. The amount of history aboard alone is worth the cost of a few hours, the friendliness of the docents is more than worth the money and time. There is a gift shop at the end of the tour... The amount of goodies and curios will keep battle ship fans for another 30 minutes....

Don H — Google review

As an Iowan and a Navy family, this was a must-see on our trip. To start, if you are from Iowa, you get free admittance, so that was a great perk. The view from the ship is breathtaking. The ship is breathtaking. It has been very well maintained and each of the individuals along our self guided tour were insightful and more than welcoming. It was a great piece of history that all of my kids enjoyed (9 years old to 18). I was blown away by its size alone, but seeing how our service men and women are "housed" at sea was even more interesting. One part that surprised me were the living quarters for the women, and how they were separate at the time of this ship's service. I would highly recommend stopping here!!

Bravo! Arrived to Waterfront parking lot by 9 am. Took shuttle bus to Waterfront and followed the waiting line for more than 2 hours to the entrance. Visited the wonderful booths around 40 minutes. Another 2 hours waiting line to the Aircraft Carrier. Worth it, but standing time was too long.Since there's no food no drinks to the LA Fleet, we were so thirsty and hungry. Fortunately I had a big breakfast in the morning. We were lucky to see a drink stand, $4 per bottle water. No worry! I bought it.After visiting the Aircraft Carrier, I was so tired already. No time to go back to the booths visit which I missed a lot.Next year, I definitely will go again and arrange better.

Mo C — Google review

The Iowa is history well preserved. Hosts are very friendly and knowledgeable. Self guided tour routes are well marked. Would liked to have seen more placards describing what it was I was looking at as far as some inner rooms. Saw no mention of a medical facility. Having now seen both the Iowa and the Missouri, the Iowa has more detailed restoration. Very well done. A heart felt salute to all that served on her.

Stan A — Google review

The battleship history is amazing. Good way to know the technology, dimensions and equipment used in that time. I recommend to visit this on a weekday. You can see free the exterior, but I recommend to visit it. If you never have been in a similar battleship. There is a big parking lot close to the battleship. There is access for stroller but you can't access to the tour with this, because there are many stairs.

Yo R — Google review

Adults, kids, & teens in our group all agreed that this battleship tour was more enjoyable than they expected. As a military veteran, I was pleased to see that our young folks found the ship and its hands-on history appealing and interesting. Nice, at-your-own-pace activity on a summer day… and good for the budget-aware. Oh, and Monday is a great day — few visitors.

M. A — Google review

My cousin stopped by from the boat he was in from San Francisco before going to Florida on Nov 02, 2023 so we passed by to meet him for lunch. Next to their boat was the Battleship USS Iowa and it looked incredible. People who worked in the area were nice and friendly as well. We wanted to come inside and buy tickets but we didn't have the time, I will come back here and see when I get the chance and update my review.

Johnnef M — Google review

Wow, great historical site. 2 hours got us through all the decks. Be prepared for some stairs up and down through 5 decks. Take time to watch the videos spread around the ship. Man, those 16inch guns are impressive.

Marci C — Google review

I really enjoyed my tour of the Iowa. We had the chance to view the Captain's berth and see the tub that had been installed for FDR. The tour guides were friendly and informative. We had lunch on the fantail of the ship. The hot dogs they sell there are delicious. There's a good amount of container ship traffic so you can sit, eat your lunch and watch the ships go by. Schedule half a day for your tour.

Charles W — Google review

Very big ship. Expect 3 hours for this visit.Used the gocity pass for this attraction. Totally worth it.History, photo opportunities (look outside the shop too), and look at the life of sailing with different aspects (eating, tailor, barber etc.)It's quite a long attraction (with lots of printed material) so time yourself well in case you need to visit other attractions nearby.Follow the markers and you are ready. There's an app but note that the AR experience is difficult given the poor network.

Jason F — Google review

Hats off to the volunteers. They're welcoming and have a wealth of knowledge. The ship is in pretty good shape with some spots being renovated. My family enjoyed seeing the ship, seeing the living quarters, battle stations and the mess hall. They have a cool little game for the younger kids. It's worth visiting and exploring the ship.

Aaron A — Google review

This is really an amzing ship. The tour is a bit tiring with the up and down ladders... but its part of the journey. One can really feel how hard is the life of the navy men ans women wbo live in this ship. What i find very important is the significance of the ship during world war 2. Its interesting to learn more about the men and women who shared their lives in order to maintain the ship and delivered strategic goals for security and peace.Though we wanted to have the presidential tour... it was just fully book at the time. Must book days ahead next time

Magilas S — Google review

Worth a visit. Kids had a great time. Lots to learn from history. About two hours to see everything. Lots of walking and climbing stairs. Wish the tour had included more of the guts of the ship such as the engine room. Several exhibits really rounded out the experience.

Carlos R — Google review

The incredible history behind this ship and all those who served in it is indescribable. It draws you in to stay forever in the ship! As you approach the deck, some of the veterans will greet you and be available for questions. Throughout the ship, you'll find yellow arrows as a guide with professional posts describing the areas being visited. These arrows will also lead you to an awesome bookstore full of items to cherish forever. All in all, one visit won't be enough to totally make justice to this important and most awesome part of the United States history. You'll be thrilled by it.

Ozeas S — Google review

Great place to experience history! Unfortunately we visited on a day when it was raining and experienced standing water that soaked our shoes. Someone pushing water out of these area would be nice. Also, there are some pretty steep stairs you must go up & down. Be aware if touring with the very young, seniors or those with mobility issues.

Ann N — Google review

History buff or just looking for something cool to do in LA, the USS Iowa Museum is definitely worth checking out. This massive battleship is docked right in San Pedro, and you can actually walk the decks and explore the ship yourself.I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was immediately impressed by the size of the Iowa. It's hard to imagine the thousands of sailors who once lived and worked on this floating city. The self-guided tour lets you wander through different parts of the ship, from the bridge where the captain steered the vessel to the mess decks where the crew ate. There's also a lot of cool history on display. I learned about the Iowa's role in World War II, the Korean War, and the Cold War. It's amazing to think this ship saw so much action throughout its long career.Overall, the USS Iowa Museum is a fascinating place to visit. It's a great way to learn about naval history and get a sense of what life was like on a battleship. If you're in LA, I definitely recommend checking it out!

Amanda E — Google review

If you are in the area this is a self guided tour that is amazing. I would give yourself a couple of hours at the minimum. Make sure to knock out restrooms before you start the tour. However, there are restrooms, food, beer and an awesome place to relax at the end of the tour. Enjoy.

R F — Google review

My brother in law, my father, and I had an incredible time aboard the USS Iowa, and with our excellent tour guide. We spent a scant four hours aboard and nearly got the whole run of the ship on our $75 guided tour. And we all concluded we have to return to see even more. What a great experience to see such a ship like that, and go through it in such detail. Special commendations to our tour guide, Bob Abelson, for letting us go in, out, up, down, and all around this great ship! A very worthwhile experience. That said, the website is a mess, and something must be done about the experience. The site says the general access pass must be bought before the tours, but it doesn't say that the page will take you to the add-on page following checkout. Clear as mud overall. Same with scheduling for the tours; not the most clear. Also, the hot dog stand was closed early. But everyone aboard the ship was nice, we bought our add-on tour once we there, and everything is in fairly good condition. Will return again!

Nick H — Google review

Came here with my teenager and we both had a great time touring the ship. It was a self guided tour but that didn’t stop us from taking in the history of the ship. The ladders can be quite steep at times so that’s one challenge that some might struggle with. The ships store is also a great place to stock up on souvenirs/gifts. Along with all of that, the folks working on the ship were all friendly and willing to help if needed. I’d highly recommend a visit here!

Jakob Z — Google review

This was our second trip to see Iowa, we were here 2 years ago and seeing the ongoing restoration of her is absolutely amazing. Last time we also did the gun tour (highly recommend!!) The staff is always friendly and telling stories of the artifacts.

Chris ( — Google review

A visit to the USS Iowa is a treat for people who are interested in local and global history. The docent who relayed the stories about the construction and use of this massive ship was very knowledgeable and interesting. His enthusiasm was contagious. It is important for people to wear walking shoes that are not slippery or high heels. The steps are steep on the ship, but the safety reminders at the start of the tour were very helpful on how to negotiate the steps. All in all the ship tour was well marked, great with explanations of each room, and very interesting. The only downside was the lack of a real place to eat that wasn't a hotdog stand. But, that didn't really matter with the number of local restaurants within walking distance.

Louise S — Google review

This was such an interesting tour and very informative. We purchased the tickets at the gate and proceeded to walk through the various areas of the ship. They have so many signs to read and there are also several volunteers around the ship who are willing to answer your questions. They have a neat museum as well with different interactive exhibits, a gift shop and the most delicious hot dog stand!Such a great reminder of the sacrifices our service members make for us daily, especially those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.Well worth the ticket price to see such amazing history and being able to be aboard a ship that has also seen three US President's.

Kristi L — Google review

It was a very nice experience. The ship was huge and it gives such a good opportunity n experience to visit a battleship which otherwise you can't anywhere. It is a self-guided tour of the entire ship and shows how sailors life is, on the ship. The view is spectacular from the ship and it actually is an enriched experience that u get while walking through the entire ship, There are no restrictions on taking picturesI really loved it.

Komal S — Google review

I've been to this ship a couple of times now and always have a great time. The first time me and the wife and I went and checked it out and loved it. This is the second time we've been back to its current location, and we brought my daughter to this time, and we all had a blast. Prior to this, I saw her when she was in Oakland being renovated before being put down where she is now. Highly recommend for any families.

Richard C — Google review

Wonderfully kept up ship. Staff were outstanding and very helpful. I want to go back and see more next time.

Kelly D — Google review

Our visit to the USS Iowa was brief but memorable. We arrived late and had only an hour to tour before closing. Despite the limited time, we found the ship's history and stories about the crew and its missions incredibly fascinating. The ship has a lot of steps, so be prepared for some climbing. Even with the time constraint, the knowledgeable staff and well-presented exhibits made the experience worthwhile. It's a must-see for history and naval enthusiasts.

Johnny N — Google review

The self-guided tour was fun, but I think the next time I come I'll want to get a guided tour. The more expensive options include some of the normally off limits areas such as the engine room, which I really would have enjoyed seeing. Still, it was fun and educational without the guide.

Jarrod K — Google review

This ship is spectacular, hands down one of the highlights of my road trip. I have visited aircraft carriers and this is maybe even more fun. Very interactive, super hands on, for all ages. If you like boats, you will love coming here.

Kelso4001 — Google review

This is a literal piece of history. Well worth the price of admission. Take time while you're there to speak with the staff, you will learn a lot. Great for kids!

Dustin A — Google review

Went during Fleet Week, massive amount of people. Loved walking through history. The weather was perfect. Plan on spending at least 90 minutes on the ship.

Sandi C — Google review

A little pricey, especially if you have kids of all ages but for a good cause. No tours were available (which are more expensive btw) so it's basically follow the yellow arrows on the ground and get ready to walk with plenty of stairs too. Kids enjoyed themselves and that's what made it worth it for the adults. The booths, vehicles, helicopter, tank were really a great addition 🪖 and the play area kept them entertained while we were in line, thank God.

Factory Outlets

Outlet mall Citadel Outlets features a variety of high-end retailers and restaurants. The mall is well-maintained and features beautiful decorations for Chinese New Year. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and the staff in the stores are always happy to help. Parking options are plentiful, and walking around the mall is a fun experience. The food court here is great, with lots of options for various dietary needs.

Citadel is a beautifully decorated and maintained outlet shopping experience. This time they had decorations for the Chinese New Year. The atmosphere and shopping is excellent. The staff in the stores is friendly and welcoming.

Ranfhery A — Google review

This place is very disappointing. When you read outlet, you think lots of stores. The options at this place are very small (not many sales and I came on labor day weekend) and I frequently have walked away empty handed! There is no store here I can rave about. The malls are even better than this “outlet.”I gave it 3 stars because it is clean, parking is plenty&easy, and bathrooms are nice.

Jessica Y — Google review

They have practically every outlet you can think of - from gap, guess and old navy to high end like emporio Armani and Tumi. Of course, there’s also Michael kors, coach, Kate spade, Disney, Steve Madden and Calvin Klein. The building itself is quite impressive and the mall is well laid out. There are many restaurants and food options too from Starbucks and jamba juice to chipotle, Cinnabon and auntie Annie’s

The Citadel Outlets is a popular shopping center located in Commerce. It's known for its outlet stores offering discounted prices on a variety of brand-name products. The center features over 130 stores, including fashion, accessories, and home goods. The architecture resembles a Babylonian fortress, giving it a unique and visually interesting design. It's a destination for bargain hunters and those looking for a diverse shopping experience.Parking can be a madhouse so bring some extra patience with you when you come.

Jason C — Google review

Citadel outlets is huge shopping outlets mall. Lotta parking options. Lotta walking. Huge food court. Many hugh street shops. Great place for family.

Dominique V — Google review

Not the biggest outlet town but it has majority of the big brands available. Place is nicely designed and there are signs and maps everywhere to help you get your way around instead of getting lost trying to find your favourite outlets. The food available at the outlets could definitely be improved though, as there are less than 10 shops/restaurants there selling food. As the weather is cold, maybe would be good if there are more indoor seats around for people to rest in between shopping. The staff in each of the outlet stores are mostly pleasant and helpful. No racism was encountered and they even assisted to unlock further discounts!

Jing L — Google review

Here you’ll find stores like Coach, Nike, Kate spade, true religion, DKNY, and many others at this outlet. Considering it’s an outlet mall, they don’t always have the best offers. The mall is nice and clean and plenty of parking space available.I wish they had more stores and some better offers.Overall it’s a 3.5 stars for me.

I'm from Arizona, the plants alone are amazing to look at. Lots of great stores and good deals. The food court wasn't too shabby either.

Greg S — Google review

Fire hazard issue during open business hours the entire mall was designed with several entrances and exits, but they only keep one open.Thats a public safety hazard in case of fire, emergencies, earthquake and so on people will stay trap in here hopefully the President CEO of this Outlets have all doors open during business hours before a tragedy happens. I have visit citadel outlet mall for the first time in this mall is absolutely amazing. They literally have everything high-quality for cheap priceThe mall have the best stores that you looking for .They have more than three different areas with public restrooms, which is very comfortable. They have great food court and they have a lots of parking areas. The place looks very clean and the stores are really cheap and high-quality .This place is great to visit during the week to not have some traffic’s .

Harry P — Google review

Citadel is MUCH better than it used to be years ago. It's definitely the best outlet center in the Greater LA Metro, and you no longer have to drive all the way to Cabazon (almost Palm Springs...) to find good prices.

Paolo P — Google review

Convenient to drive there, close to residence. Parking area is inside building which is good. Not big, price is not competitive, doesn’t have much discount.

Weiqin — Google review

I love it here! Window shopping is the best🤩 Although I didn't buy anything, I went inside some stores just to look at stuff. I've been here a couple of times in the past and never got bored visiting this great place. Would definitely come here again in the future 😊

Jen — Google review

A decent size outlet with most of the shops that you would want.I didn’t like the Nike or Coach outlets here as they barely had any of their items in stock, most of the other shops were all good.We went over the Christmas period so it was very busy and hard to find parking, we ended up using the valet service for $8 which is well worth it for the day.

Sukh S — Google review

Loved the Christmas vibes throughout.Great deals over Thanksgiving weekend. Kate Spade had 50-70% + 25% storewide. There’s also a pop up Lululemon but designs are limited in my size.Pro tip: visit very early in the day, or closer to closing time to avoid the massive crowd. The place was PACKED!

Genie — Google review

WowSuperb and great place for shopping where you will find most of the brands.Prices are very reasonable as well.

Amgad B — Google review

There's FREE parking structure with remaining parking spots left indicators. There's also an elevator and stairs. It is also lighted and well lit when it gets dark. There are also vending machines near the elevators and stairs on the bottom level. Love the seasonal decor. Great place to shop for great deals and enjoyed walking.

Chung L — Google review

The Citadel did not have those buster deals this visit. The stores didn’t have those awesome sales I’m use to see here! This outlet has a lot of the main high end stores as well as the less expensive stores. Merchandise is fully stocked in the stores. Each of the stores I entered I was greeted and asked if I was looking for anything specific. If I needed anything help the client advisor offered his/her name. Kate Spade ♠️ had 70% off sale. 😧The food area has a variety of food options. There is free parking in the structure or in the lot. Either get there early for parking or valet your vehicle without the hassle of looking for a parking space. You can also avoid the long line when you arrive early. Happy 😃 shopping 🛍️.

Golf course

The Trump National Golf Club Los Angeles is a remarkable golf course situated on a peninsula, offering stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. The course layout is intriguing and well-maintained, with some holes overlooking the ocean. Public-access trails provide access to viewpoints with breathtaking views of the sea. The club's ambiance is pleasant, and its ornate room boasts million-dollar ocean and Catalina views. It's an excellent destination for golf enthusiasts looking for an unforgettable experience in a beautiful location.

Overall, dining at Trump National Gold Club was an absolute pleasure, and I can't wait to return for another unforgettable meal. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience.I was a little surprised to see a full restaurant without a table to spare!Even a simple Caesar's salad was a culinary masterpiece, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented."The service was impeccable, and also with speed, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who anticipated our needs before we even asked. Five stars !★★★★★ FIVE STARS ★★★★★

Karen D — Google review

One of the toughest tracks I've played due to its length from the back tees and the tightness of the landing areas with the ocean breeze. Gorgeous landscaping, amazing fairways and tee boxes, fast and true greens. Highly recommended and a must play if you're in Southern California.

Tre V — Google review

I've played many golf courses in California and other states in this country, when considering a balance of beauty, conditions and service.. this golf course is five stars in all categories starting with the views! If you want a down side to visiting this club than I would have to blame yourself for not being prepared for a tough course, accuracy and placement of shots are a must if your keeping score, I love this course! Its humbling and rewarding with tee boxes that are epic, greens true and fast with gorgeous ocean views. It's a must experience for mid to low handicappers, the service and food is unparalleled for a public use golf course. Bring your A game though, This course offers everything you'd want in a challenge and a fabulous place to enjoy your day on the links rivaling Pebble Beach and more challenging in my opinion.. Just awesome!I will be visiting again!

Nice ambience, and the course condition was very good, well maintained. The layout also was interesting, some with ocean views. Played late afternoon, comfortable, less expensive!

Beautiful location, the views are spectacular. The club is absolutely beautiful. The room was ornate and had million dollar views of the ocean and Catalina. Came here for a business meeting. I had a hard time focusing due to the impressive view.

One of the most beautiful courses in California! Top notch service, gorgeous views, and very well kept. Every hole has a view of the ocean, challenging layout and greens, and even some of the tee boxes are unique. A must play.

Gary B — Google review

Excellent venue with a beautiful view of the ocean. So much room and wide spaces with plenty of parking. Food was great and staff were all friendly.

Nicer than Pebble, for the price! This is a great golf course.

The trail throughout the outskirts of the course is amazing for walks and getting exercise.

Dad's day excursion from Disneyland made it all worth while.Woke up early and made the drive to this scenic location less than an hour from Anaheim. Perfect day. Amazing scenery, landscaping, course, conditions and club house. It's expensive and challenging. You will need extra balls because there is no tolerance for errant shots. And even when you hit a good shot, chances are there's a perfectly groomed bunker in play.Abounding fauna on every hole, islands on the distant horizon and a travertine laced clubhouse serving local power brokers and Disneyland dads with equal enthusiasm. Make sure you stay for lunch, the food is as good as the setting and they keep craft beers ice cold on tap.

Sights & Landmarks

The Wayfarers Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes is an impressive and historic architectural structure that offers couples the option to host their wedding ceremony with up to 100 guests. This Christian ministry is open and affirming, offering its visitors an opportunity to experience spirituality in a unique setting.

This chapel is designed by the famous architect, Lloyd Wright. What a cute little chapel by the ocean!! It might be a small wedding here but definitely a memorable one. The view is just priceless. So quiet & peaceful. Many great photo zones at the place. Lots of visitors visiting daily. One of the landmarks at PV.The Parking: small parking lot (free)

I C — Google review

Always a peaceful and beautiful visit. A great place to unwind and de-stress. Contrary to Google Maps chosen description, this is NOT a "Christian Church", but they won't let me modify their classification. This is a non-denominational Chapel for ALL, not just those of the Christian faith.

Steve C — Google review

Had our dream wedding here in April. Our wedding coordinator Tracy did an amazing job at running our wedding. They were attentive and very informative throughout the whole process. The space is beautiful and all of our guests were awe struck by the beauty of the chapel and grounds.

Graciela H — Google review

Situated close to the Pacific coast at Palos Verdes, Designed by son of Frank Lloyd Wright. Frank is one of the most well-known architects. The chapel feels so light and when inside the transparency of the building makes you feel you are outside in the nature.Check website for the location and hours. There is free parking and visiting the building is free too but there are lots of ceremonies happening and you may need to wait for a gap between them to be able to go inside the building. So plan being around there for a couple of hours and make sure you go and check first to see when is the gap.

Mohammad A — Google review

I've seen this chapel online, and let me tell you, seeing in person is absolutely beautiful. it's located in palos verde with ocean views that are stunning. it's also called the Glass Church. it has unique organic architecture. i believe it can hold up to 100 guests. getting married here is very pricey, but what once you see it, you'll know why. this can also be a cute proposal spot .

Geo79 A — Google review

Wayfarers Chapel is a stunning place to have your wedding ceremony! This place runs a tight ship, with wedding ceremony slots taking place every 2 hours. Photographers and videographers must stand behind the last pew at all times during the wedding ceremony, which is not an issue with the proper equipment. The space is GORGEOUS and the photos speak for themselves! (Photos by Tida Svy Photography)

Tida S — Google review

This is place is peaceful and beautiful. The chapel itself is not too big however you get to walk around the area and if you're lucky you can spot the hummingbirds and butterflies. The views are amazing and the best part is that the entrance is free. They have plenty of parking space.

Domingo J — Google review

The Wayfarers Chapel offers a serene sanctuary that invites visitors to find solace and contemplation. Nestled in a picturesque setting, the chapel exudes a sense of tranquility and spirituality. While time has left its mark on some aspects of the chapel, the weathered charm adds to its character and historical appeal. The interior provides a peaceful space for personal reflection and prayer, allowing individuals to disconnect from the outside world. Whether seeking a moment of quiet introspection or a place to find inner peace, the Wayfarers Chapel delivers a unique and meaningful experience.

Kurt M — Google review

This chapel is so pretty and peaceful. It has a little water fountain inside. It’s small and gorgeous and made of glass. It overlooks the ocean so the view is seriously breath taking.Note for visitors - make sure you leave time to see the abalone cove and hike. They shut the gates to the public in the late day and you won’t be able to get in.This is a must see for anyone visiting Rancho Palo Verdes.

Stunning spot to visit when in Palos Verdes…and of course, amazing wedding spot if you’re looking for a venue! Has stunning views of the ocean and well maintained trees and flowers. Small parking lot makes this easy to take a quick stroll through on your next visit!

Allison K — Google review

We had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Wayfarers Chapel, and it was an absolute dream location! The stunning architecture and lush surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for capturing beautiful moments. The natural light filtering through the glass walls made every shot look like a work of art. We can't wait to return to this breathtaking venue for more magical weddings!

Very nice chapel and grounds. The chapel is closed at the moment except for scheduled services. But you can still visit the grounds and see the outside.

Mark A — Google review

The chapel is very cute, occupies a small area, has good greenery, is surrounded by trees, and has abundant grass. You can chat and have a picnic here. The opposite is the sea, a very beautiful place. On the day I went there was a wedding, so the church could not enter, everything was so beautiful, thank God for all the beauty.

Ro — Google review

Beautiful location. The only problem is as a photographer. You're not allowed to take photos anywhere close to the bride and groom. You have to stay behind a line next to the doors during the ceremony

Anthony M — Google review

This place is calm and beautiful. Went after the services and the chapel was open to the public. Such a calm and beautiful place that I never knew was here. Takwe the time ans drive from LA to visit. You will be glad you did. Free parking, a view of the ocean, beautiful grounds, flowers and clamness. Check the website to make sure the chapel is open but I waa there Sunday at 1130

Nature & Parks

Charles H. Wilson Park is a comprehensive sports and recreation area that offers various activities like jogging, volleyball, basketball, tennis and roller hockey. It is equipped with essential facilities such as batting cages, indoor roller hockey rinks, baseball field, horseshoe pits and fitness equipment. The park also features playgrounds for kids and barbecue pits for family gatherings.

This is a great park that has a wide variety of recreation facilities. Two big baseball fields with four diamonds, tennis courts, baseball courts, picnic area, but also sports complex building that aren't common in other smaller rec centers. What I like the most though, is that when I visit the park on a Sunday morning, there were people everywhere, in the fields, along the trail. I love it when a park is there for people.

Y? W — Google review

Although small in size, this park is frequented by many people for leisurely walks. During our stay at a nearby hotel, we searched for a park to take a short stroll and discovered this park which was a mere 10-minute drive away. Despite its size, it proved to be a pleasant place for a walk. The only downside was the parking lot which had scattered bottles and food scraps that attracted large black birds. In addition to its popularity among walkers, this park is also home to friendly squirrels. It seems that visitors often feed them, as they will run up to anyone standing nearby and stand on their hind legs, eagerly waiting for a snack. It's quite adorable!

Mae A — Google review

It was very crowded but it seems for such a crowded park that it's at least not totally filthy. There is a lot of small trash but that's pretty normal for a heavily populated park. I'm not from the area, heck, I'm not even from the same state. But, it was at least nice to see family again.

This Park has EVERYTHING EVERY PARK Should have. Batting cages, Indoor Roller Hockey, Baseball field, Horseshoe pits, tennis courts, Basketball courts, Fitness equipment, Barbecue pits, Playground for the kids,a water playground (splash pad)for them thru April to December and don't miss the Farmers market Every Tuesday and Saturday from 8:00a.m to 1:00pm. And this is my Mom's favorite park to go for a walk. It is TRULY a BEAUTIFUL, GREAT SAFE PARK to take the family and kids.

SPceezZED K — Google review

It is the best park in Torrens and has a lot of exercise equipment available. It is also a good date course and you can hit a baseball for $1. The park is also large and there are facilities for roller skating. As a park in the Torrens area, many classes are also included.

Heather H — Google review

This park has horseshoe pits, tennis courts, BBQ areas, a baseball field & a wooden platform deck area.It recently hosted Shakespeare by the Sea 🎭 a Shakespearean play group.

Large park with many different areas, baseball fields, tennis, pickleball, basketball. They have a open workout area with some equipment. Water fountain play area. Large playground. Dog friendly, on leash. Large picnic area. Farmers market Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Linda K — Google review

This park has a lot to offer with all the different playing areas. I especially like the splash pad & playground for my granddaughter. Plus they have some nice sidewalks for walking. Along with a great place to do some outdoor workouts. They have many different exercise equipment outside for public to use. We had a very nice experience there.

Cheryl T — Google review

It's a fair sized park with ample parking spaces. On Tue & Sat mornings there is a Farmer's Market with lots of food trucks (especially on Sat). Hiking, jogging, play ground, water spouts, roller rink, batting cages, baseball diamond, tennis courts, BBQ pits, and picnic areas round out this park.

Lini H — Google review

This park is a piece of paradise. With it's rolling hills, tree house, extensive play ground, bbq areas with plenty of picnic tables to throw a great party, plus a splash pad and outdoor gym. There is something for everyone. Plenty of parking, and expect people, as it's a little busy. .

Friendship food and fun. This is everything baseball soccer food festivities. Saturday rocks at Wilson Park

Kaththe F — Google review

I absolutely love this park. I've came here as a kid and over the years it's changed and has gotten even better. But when I come to the park for the farmers market I come to enjoy the atmosphere the people the food the fresh veggies and fruits... not be met with a guy yelling on a loud speaker shoving Christianity down people's throats. I'm just trying to enjoy the nice weather and watch people practice in the fields. I seen a few babies crying as the mom's walked past poor babies got scared of all the yelling of hell this and hell that. Such a lovely day just let it be just that.

Ashley P — Google review

Attended the park after going to Southern California Live Steamers. Parking was available. Bathrooms by parking have no doors except for one stall. Many birthday parties with bounce castles. Playground had options for toddlers and older children. Wood chips on ground, which we liked. Opportunities for children to climb. Swings. Slides. Etc.

Natalya B — Google review

Large and diverse park, great for moderately challenging walks, or a picnic. There are benches for eating which are partially shaded as well as several playgrounds. Public cardio machines are also available. DO NOT BRING KIDS, this is a peaceful park and doesn't need little screaming monsters!

Allen S — Google review

My sweet dog Sunny and I walk through Wilson Park as often as we can. She's so happy to be there while trying to catch squirrels. Don't worry. The squirrels have the upper hand. We stay on the grass while walking, running, and trotting. The park is clean and safe. I love the farmer's market on Saturday and Tuesday. There's a good amount of organic produce, food stands, plants, and beautiful orchids. It's wonderful to see how many people utilize all the good stuff at the park, including the outdoor gym.

Katherine B — Google review

Every Tuesday and Saturday, the Farmers Market is out here. Love going to get fresh fruit and vegetables and on Tuesday, a vendor that sells a turkey sausage and potato broth is out there. The broth is delicious and there are several kinds. It's a family business and delicious.

Good park with walking path surrounded by big trees. Park have small kids play area which includes seasaw, swings, slides and that kind regular equipment. Park have many tennis courts. There is indoor lacrosse play area, I enjoyed watching match there! Free parking available both side of park.

Umesh C — Google review

I come to Wilson park with my family to walk our dog at least once a day 5-6 times a week. We like coming here because it’s a very people and pet friendly park, it’s fun to meet other dog owners and their dogs. The park itself is really big with 3 or 4 baseball fields, large exercise area with modern exercise equipment available to the public for free, a batting cage, ice skating rink, basketball courts, large picnic area with tables and bbq pits, a very big and nice tree house in the middle of the park(perfect for wedding pictures), a huge playground for kids, tennis courts, a big splash area for kids to play and get wet , a large fenced in area for horseshoe throwing(sometimes they have tournaments there), and a very nicely built concert stage where they often have live entertainment perform on some weekends(we got to watch a local symphony orchestra perform live this past Labor Day holiday it was great!) On the other side of the park they have a whole Farmer’s Market set up in the parking lot I’m not sure what days of the week but I know for sure they have it every Thursday. Wilson park is a great place to spend the day with your family or even if you just want to relax and read a good book by yourself in the shade! There’s lots to see and do here! I almost forgot about parking! Parking is usually not hard to find because although you might see a lot of cars there’s many parking lots to choose from and still easily access the park just steps away .

Point Vicente Interpretive Center, located in Point Vicente Park, offers a fascinating experience for visitors interested in natural and local culture exhibits. The center provides a front-row seat to witness the epic ocean journey of gray whales as they complete their 10,000-mile round-trip from Mexico to Alaska. The surrounding area boasts stunning coastal views and well-maintained dirt trails that are perfect for leisurely walks.

If you are looking for a very pretty place to catch the sunset… this is it!!! The view was amazingggg!! They have picnic table so you can even sit and eat! I saw a birthday party happening! Which look so pretty with the sunset as background 😍 definitely coming back!

Great place to walk along the coastline, although you won’t get beach access, the trails across the coast have gorgeous views. Parking is free, and wasn’t too crowded on a weekday. There are a few picnic tables and chairs along with grassy places to spread a picnic blanket on. The trails are dirt trails but are well maintained, mostly flat with no high elevations. You can walk to the lighthouse or go northwest and walk the trail that connects to the sidewalk system. Easily can spend an hour or two exploring the place.

I had a pleasure of visiting Point Vicente in Palos Verdes again, and it exceeded all my expectations once again. This stunning coastal gem deserves every bit of its five-star rating. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the breathtaking panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. The rugged cliffs, crashing waves, and vibrant marine life created an enchanting ambiance that was truly unforgettable. The Point Vicente Interpretive Center was a treasure trove of knowledge, providing fascinating insights into the area's rich history, marine conservation efforts, and wildlife. The knowledgeable and friendly staff enhanced the experience with their passion and dedication. The lighthouse, with its timeless beauty and historical significance, added an extra touch of charm to the surroundings. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, a history buff, or simply seeking tranquility, Point Vicente is a must-visit destination. I left feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and in awe of the natural wonders that abound in this remarkable place.

Ample free parking, beautiful views, nice walking trails and a learning center that is totally free🤙Visited the Center (Donations welcomed) and looked at the exhibits that give you knowledge about the lighthouse past, fossils and artifacts of natives that lived in the area and about the native animals and sealife in the area. Bathrooms available at the center too with ample parking.Maintained fenced off walking trails along the cliff for exercise and dog walkers, shade trees for a picnic, and ocean views that are worth the visit. 5 stars🤙🤙🤙

Today was more of a walking day. Previously I've gone into the center & explored thru the exhibits. The trails are wide & well maintained. Ample parking at the center makes this a popular spot for walking along the top of the bluffs & picnicking.Inside the center is a gift shop & very cool science/historical exhibits focused on the local area. There is no fee for any of this. Donations are always welcome.Restrooms are accessible both inside & out of the building.

Beautiful spot to whale watch or just to catch the sunset. Please be respectful and throw garbage where it belongs. As more people come, you start to notice the bad habits they bring with them. Parking can get full. You can see the Coast guard lighthouse, but no direct access.

The walk at Palos Verdes is a beautiful scenery that I think everyone should enjoy! The sound of waves (even though they are far), the bird watching experience is really good for your soul! This last visit, there was an area where Goats were eating the grass, you could come close to them (behind the fence of course) and try to feed them with some extra dry grass.

Yana G — Google review

Educational Center/ Museum is a great place to visit and learn and all for free, though donations are welcome. Not only is the geological history of California on display but also the flora and fauna through time, as well as the development of the area from its origins to the present. In addition, the location is surrounded by beautiful vistas, open grounds, hiking trails, and ample parking. It's an ideal place for a picnic or just to take in all the views.

Philip L — Google review

I've used the restroom here. No complaints. Aside from that, I've never been inside. But there is a cool balcony deck on the back, overlooking the Pacific. Often there are dedicated whale watchers hanging out there with binoculars and spotting scopes pointed at the water, hoping to catch site of a cetacean (whale or dolphin). The ground are gorgeous.

Arkturus L — Google review

One of the nicest places along palos verdes area. There is a nice big parking lot available at no cost. Picnic tables and large grass areas to just relax and play ball. Beautiful views of the surrounding nature, the Pacific Ocean and high steep cliffs. There are 3 free parking lots, a museum and a nearby lighthouse, which is part of the museum and military history of the area. A beautiful place for picnics and trips for families with children.

Cirrus S — Google review

Great experience. we had a tour guide take us around the entire museum, giving us a history and explanation to all the things that we experienced. The kids absolutely loved it and asked 1,000,000 1/2 questions of our tour guide. It was really nice because our tour guide was obviously a retired lady who is doing this in her spare time and had a lot of connection to the historyshared within. Definitely recommended for all those kids who are interested in animals and geology.

This place is simply stunning. One can’t help but pause to absorb the crisp air, the vibrant wildlife, and the graceful pelicans gliding through the sky, while the rhythmic crash of waves against the rocks creates a serene melody. It’s my sanctuary.

Really Peaceful and Great View. Perhaps one of the best coastal views in LA. I do recommend checking the weather before you visit I though because I have experienced fog when visiting and that greatly diminishes the experience.

This museum is an amazing treasure and must see in Palos Verdes. Herb gave me a wonderful tour - he is super nice, knowledgeable and generous with his time! (I really appreciate it)The center covers everything you can think of (or can’t) about Palos Verdes, including a wide variety of marine life, fascinating geology, fossils, rich history (native, Spanish, whale economy, cattle business, farming business, sea world business) and lighthouse. I’d definitely visit again. The view outside is also breathtaking.

No entrance ticket!! It has an amazing view of lighthouse and cliff. Must visit early in the morning or during sunset for breath taking views. there is also a well developed trail which runs along the cliff for a perfect walk/run with an ocean view and a cool breeze.

Beautiful cove below and a maritime museum. Catalina across the channel and one of the few lighthouses in PSW.You can hike, picnic or jest lay in the soft grass. Take a drive, see the beauty minutes away from the beehive of LA. Maybe just maybe see spouting whales migrating north and south.

They do not care about your health - AT ALL. They sometimes pretend to care about your wellbeing, but they also do not care about that. Also, you have to fight for your autonomy with them. They know that you are dealing with them reluctantly because you do not have enough money to get by in the current state of the economy. They know that if residents at their sites had enough money, the residents would not be dealing with how they treat people. The United States government does not make sure that its residents have enough money for food and housing. Union Station Services is not the cause, but is a symptom of a nasty problem.

I am currently in a shelter threw Union station I've been a client for 6 months, now suddenly I need to move locations, they have no reasons for why but I have been given a verbal update that every person needs to relocate, from my understanding I should have been given some kind of written statement and some time to prepare to move.

Trust some of the staff faculties (Watchers day/night I call them) favorites certain people, certain Staffs wash their laundry for them while the client (person)ain't doing anything, some becomes chummy chummy (Very close) in the office with certain clients (person's ). Be prepared to get sicknesses here too they will place you in a room in the middle of the night while other people who passed it on to you don't receive it at all. Nobody Respects Nobody even if you keep urself (if your friends with them/not).Some of the Staffs or Watchers give certain people a pass to do as they want while other's are obedient to obey by the rules. The WATCHERS WON'T CARE NOR HELP YOU IF YOU HAVE ISSUES WIT H ANYBODYThe service here SUCKS they can't Really help you to get Permanent Housing because they can not provide a Notice nor Vouchers like they use to to back then to back your words you up with Rental Services that they supposedly provide. If you people like more info you can look me up. Please send Prayers 🙏 Thank You.. Nor Respect

Today is November 26th 2021 the same date that is posted for the Thanksgiving event I showed up and the event was on Wednesday the 24th 2021 I have to say that I am not surprised the majority of the employees that work for homeless services around Los Angeles California are in incompetent, basically receiving a free check for the fourth quarter of the year because all of the funds have ran out for services

We were living in a motel and my husband just started a new job but didn't make enough for an apartment or weekly rent for motel. My mother just passed also so we had no where else to go and I didn't want my autistic son living in a tent in the streets so I heard of this place through 211 and was the best decision I made. They gave us a place to sleep. Also help us get a place to live with the help of door of hope. Thanks Union station pasadena.

Notable street

Shopping

The historic Olvera Street in downtown Los Angeles is a vibrant and energetic street lined with old buildings and decorated stalls that house street vendors. The street is home to the popular Mexican marketplace, which provides the perfect combination of history and divine entertainment.

South-American shopping mall.

Vid — Google review

I was a little let down by this place. Street is full of small shops selling souvenirs, bags, clothes etc., all selling the same things. I couldn’t get a feel for this place. It is known as one of the oldest localities in LA. For such a historic place, it could be developed into a cultural centre and so much more for visitors coming from around the world.

Akhil S — Google review

A fantastic place to spend an afternoon with great atmosphere and good food. This place closes quite early on Sunday’s and that was a bit of a let down. Otherwise it has the charm of authentic Mexican lifestyle with some great memorabilia shops and simple but great restaurants

A true landmark and history of Los Angeles. Lots of shops selling Mexican souvenirs and crafts! Delicious foods!!!

Beautiful shopping center in Los Angeles. There are shade spots when it's hot. The food, drinks, and dessert are amazing. I love the architectural buildings and plants. They sell a lot of imported items.

Great place to feel the history of Los Angeles. Short market street for souvenirs and local food. Highly recommend as an experience if you are visiting Los Angeles. Add Angels Flight and Union Station to your list as well.

Always a great experience! And of course a stop at cielito lindo for tacitos. I have been going there since I was a little boy and it still as good as ever.

This is a landmark of all of Los Angeles. If you go to Los Angeles you should visit here and check out the old mission. Small place but displays the rich culture of Mexican history of LA.

This used to be such a beautiful piece of history, now it's overcrowded with shops all selling the same items. I don't know who decided it would be a good idea to let in so many vendors, totally ruins the experience.

Cicely S — Google review

Relatively tucked away, most people driving in the area would probably not even notice this wonderful outdoor market. A myriad of stores and restaurants with everything from leather goods, touristy Knick-knacks, traditional style clothing, musical instruments and of course all the delicious food!

Attention difficile pour stationner.(Translated by Google)I went there Monday in the middle of the afternoon, there were a lot of people. It was folkloric, I came across a Native American dance show. Olvera Street in Los Angeles is a vibrant, cultural gem that immerses visitors in the heart of Mexican heritage. This historic marketplace offers a delightful array of authentic Mexican apparel, from traditional embroidered blouses to colorful sombreros. The food is truly a highlight, with an abundance of authentic Mexican dishes that tantalize the taste buds, from tacos and tamales to freshly made churros. The lively atmosphere is enhanced by the sound of live Mexican music that fills the air, creating a festive environment perfect for families. Whether you're looking to shop, dine, or simply enjoy the rich culture, Olvera Street is an unforgettable experience for all ages.

There so many little shops for souvenirs and many options to eat as well. There’s this one place on the end that of the street that is famous for their taquitos, Cielito Lindo. Definitely going to give it a try next time I come back to the area with a little extra time. Parking was across the street and it was $15 for the day. Get yourself an agua fresca the mango/pineapple was a delicious and was sold right on the corner entering the plaza.

A bit dissapointing, and it started raining, but cool to stroll through quickly. Lots of small shops and souveniers. I talked to a nice guy making tree signs for the city of Los Angeles. Very cool guy. Located on the right in the alley, walking from the “main” square. Check out his work!

Nice little street. Mostly filled with shops selling the same items and a few restaurants. Definitely worth a stop and walk through.

I've been coming here since a little child that hasn't changed in 50 years. The items are so remarkable and bring back memories of sitting on the front line crossing into United States of America and all the vendors selling their products. And the restaurants that are throughout the the walkways what's the most authentic food taste.

So great. Visiting here on and off for years. Sent some family that was visiting LA but also looking for something historical for their kids to learn some history. They really enjoyed it and spent almost the whole day. Colorful. Lively. And the close by church for the religious ones in the bunch.

Fishing pier

Redondo Beach Pier is a well-known landmark that is popular for its scenic oceanfront dining options, shopping outlets and nightlife. Visitors can also enjoy music and festivals in the area. The atmosphere here is much more tranquil compared to nearby attractions such as Venice and Santa Monica, yet still offers an excellent experience for tourists. In addition to a variety of restaurants serving delicious meals, there are plenty of souvenir shops and other retail outlets in the vicinity.

A good place to check out! It has a much quieter feel compared to Venice and Santa Monica but nonetheless it’s still a great place to checkout! We spent the afternoon there and had a delicious meal as well! Place is clean and have a lot of choices from restaurants, souvenir shops and many more!

Nice place for a walk. Enjoying the view of the sunset, and plenty to see there. l Highly recommended for a getaway from it all. Stress free, and there's always another day to be thankful for being here. Stay blessed people.!

I love coming to this beach!! The views are very nice here especially when the sun is setting, it's a really nice view. The pier is also a very nice place with a variety of gift shops, restaurants, and souvenirs. This beach is a very nice place to go to.

Nice boardwalk with a lot of stores and variety of food, they have a nice bike path all around the area, views of boats and ocean. There is a walkway that extends over the ocean, boat rides available. Pretty good place for anybody really. I had a great time!

Redondo Beach is a great place to go to whether your visiting or a local. Redondo has always been a lot calmer and relaxing than Venice and Santa Monica but still having the same great views of the ocean and the surrounding South Bay. Parking is hardly ever an issue and you can find plenty of free parking in the surrounding neighborhoods when it's not busy. The shopping area has plenty of great restaurants with Kalaveras probably being the best.

This place was always my favorite..as specially fresh seafood 😋. Buy some fresh seafood and eat it there or take some home. I had a nice walk, peaceful, good views saw people fishing enjoy their times.. this is a good takeaway from crazy and relaxing times. I love this place ❤️

I haven't been to Tony's since the 90's when I celebrated two New Years eve's with my good friend Kay. I returned New Years day by myself to toast the New Year and watch my wonderful passengers, the University of Michigan Wolverines win the Rose Bowl! The bartender was fabulous and I ordered crab cakes with Chardonnay while watching the first sunset of the New Year. I will definitely return!

We went came her at night and never been here in all our time’s coming out here to California. It’s a very a beautiful pier and wish we could’ve brought our kids here last month when we were here. The view to the south is just beautiful and the nice cool ocean breeze during the night is so nice though do bring a sweater. Will definitely bring my family here the next time we are here.

My favorite beach! Redondo is such a vibe! The restaurants are great. There are plenty of shops to hit up for snacks, souvenirs, and beach toys. The churros are freaking amazing. Parking is good. Thursday they have a Farmers Market with a ton of goodies.

Sherry L — Google review

my newest favorite discovery in California! LolAs silly as that sounds , I don't hear many people mentioning how lovely this area isIt reminds me of a nicer Santa Monica beach (nicer because Redondo has less tourists and the best part, very little to no homeless !!)I absolutely love how residential this area feels. Love the cute neighborhoods nearby the pier, walking and even driving through them is quite wonderful. The bike trail and beach walk are both beautifully landscaped, paved, and well taken care of. There are many public bathrooms available along the paths as well as lifeguard towers and friendly people.I did a 3 mile walk along the upper beach walk and came across many friendly people and dogs. The only thing I wished I had brought with me was better sun protection (hat and sunscreen) .I would highly recommend this beach/pier for a beach stroll, a place to walk the dog(s) or even just to get some vitamin d.I will be back to do the 44 mile bike ride from Redondo to Santa Monica :) stay tuned for photos! 🥰

Coming here as a kid to an adult is just memorable and I love that you can pretty much find parking of course the earlier you come but it’s conveniently located and it’s nice to just sit on the benches and take in the breeze and the smell of the ocean air. It’s a great place to walk you’re dog or jog up and down the pathway leading to the sand. It’s always clean and never packed it’s just a great little drive and you’re there. My family is from the area and it’s always nice to revisit and always stop on by and park at Ave C and just enjoy all of Gods beautiful creation.

Andrea G — Google review

This location as had a lot of changes especially with the new skate park being built a lot of the additions to the pier the main thing missing here, unfortunately is the arcade, but there's still lots of family friendly things to do here best part, though it would have to be the skate park. Newly designed by spohnranch come out and pick up your trash. Enjoy the scenery. Enjoy your family. Enjoy the community.

Exploring Rodando Beach Pier with my daughter and her friends was delightful. The evening walk had a charming atmosphere, and concluding the night with dinner at Old Tony's added a perfect touch to the experience. Highly recommend this scenic and enjoyable outing. There is also an excellent skateboard park located here.

It was great! So many people brought dogs, so friendly. We ate at two different places. I had French fries at one, and French toast at the other. Excellent! There were lots of happy birds, and the water was surprisingly clean. Great family-and date-place.

Lovely Pier. It’s clean, usually quiet, and uncrowded. You can grab tasty Tacos and Churros. The bike path is lovely, with beautiful water views. The Pier has plenty of parking.

Hanan H — Google review

Beautiful place. Great to walk the Pier and watch others fish off the pier. Most restaurants, ice cream shops, actually all shops don't open until noon, some not until 6pm, so it's not crowded in the mornings.

Valerie B — Google review

Ok, so it doesn't have a 🎢 or a big wheel 🛞 but it truly is a spectacular landmark on the SoCal coastline. The shops, bars and restaurants are amazing and at night it comes alive with an awesome atmosphere and 1000s of happy faces.

Dean L — Google review

I love visiting the pier! It's usually pretty crowded during the day or even at sunset, but at night it is very peaceful with just a few people fishing and couples walking or sitting and visiting. The moon looks so pretty over the pier!

Sabrina K — Google review

Finally made it to the Redondo Beach Pier and would definitely recommend it for a weekend or even a weekday event with your partner or family. There was lots of fishing to watch or even bring a pole and partake in yourself. Which speaking the Quality Seafood Inc is a great place to pick up freshly caught eats or even get some to eat there. There are plenty of other restaurant options as well if seafood isn't your thing. Among the food, drinks & fishing...there was plenty of other things to do with the local (tourists style) shops, a skatepark, boat rides, street entertainers, some karaoke, nature to watch (saw some seals playing in the harbor by the boats), the beach right by the pier, it's also a great place to take your partner and watch the sunset! I'm already planning our next trip back soon!

Richard S — Google review

i love this pier i’ve been on many adventures here, this particular night we found a restaurant with women doing karaoke and we joined and ate snow cones, very nice. i like all the food options too and looking at the docked boats.

It’s like the calmer, cleaner version of Santa Monica Pier tbh. Very chill place. So much to do and see, and the sea food is to die for. You can spend the entire day there and still have something left for tomorrow!

Aadya C — Google review

One of the best beach is "Redondo Beach".With parking fee around $2, you 1 hour to spend here. The beach so beautiful, they got Redondo Beach Pier for you to walk around for taking great pictures and foods for relaxing enjoy the view and sand breeze. They got churros too here around $10 for 3.Some peoples do fishing too here. So many great place for photograph.

Felisia M — Google review

Great little pier with a great selection of international food and shops. Fresh fish is sold here as well. Definitely stop at the World Famous Churros shop for a delicious and warm $3.75 churro! It was pretty chilly and windy on the pier. Watch out for the seagulls trying to steal your food from your hand!

Aliza B — Google review

This peir was a beautiful area but the wooden decking was to bumpy for my electric wheelchair it's not very wheelchair friendly I'd say , but once on the cement side it was much easier to get around and see the Seaside.

Sharrie H — Google review

Awesome layout of the pier how it overlaps around. There are shops and eateries and most shops are open until 9pm.

Nice place to eat, walk at the Pier and the beach.Amazing view of the Sunset. You can see pelicans, seagulls and ocasionally if your lucky some seals in the ocean.Bring your sweater since is getting cold after the sunset.Overall is a great place to visit.

Went on a weekday and it was completely dead in this whole area. Nothing going on Here. Few ppl 🎣 fishing. The shape of the pier is pretty cool. Dosnt seem to go out very far in ocean, looked pretty shallow.Bet summer x this place is packed.

Nicole W — Google review

Haven't visited this location for 20 years. It's changed for the better. The beaches surrounding are accessible. Lots of food choices at the pier. I wish they could fill up the empty stalls. Food choices are varied, with Chinese fast food, Japanese French fusion, Mexican, churros (try the churro affogato), Korean, American restaurants. Boat rentals, whale watching trips, and a seafood market, a fantastic view of the Pacific makes for a great visit.

W C — Google review

My fiancé and I were visiting Redondo Beach pier with our dog Scott, which we have done previously when visiting the area. We had a nice walk but as we were leaving, we were stopped and given a warning notice for having a dog there. I have never had this issue at any other pier. There were no signs about it (we checked on the way out). She said that it was because some owners let their dog loose, but it seems like they should just enforce keeping dogs on a leash. Sadly, we will not be coming back here again.

Museums

The Broad is a contemporary art museum located in DTLA, featuring a distinctive honeycomb-like exterior. The 120,000-square-foot space houses over 2,000 pieces of art including canvases, sculptures, and immersive installations. The collection includes works by renowned artists such as Jeff Koons and Andy Warhol. Visitors can explore new installations by artists like Roy Lichtenstein and Kara Walker.

Parking is easy and $17 all day on the weekends. You will need to request your tickets online. Masks are required and vaccinations cards are also checked. The museum architecture is really cool. If you do not like art don’t waste your time going here. The restrooms are nice and clean. Would not recommend taking young children here.

Hang N — Google review

Art museum showcasing the Broad family collection. You have to make ticket reservations online in advance; note that the general admission ticket is separate from the infinity room tickets, so you need to make sure you select both things when reserving tickets. The infinity room tickets go fast, so you need to make them at least a month in advance. There’s a parking lot but it’s $17 for three hours; you can try your luck at city lot instead for $9/$10. Tickets are free but they do have special exhibitions which are paid-admission.Masks were encouraged but not required when we went. No food or beverages allowed. Backpacks need to be worn in front of your body. Some of the art was not kid-friendly, and there are warning signs indicating such. There are restrooms on the second level. You take the escalator up to the third floor and work your way around. You can get a peek at storage while taking the stairs down to the second/first level. Overall, it’s a really fun way to spend a couple of hours to a full day looking at an eclectic mix of art.

Shanelle S — Google review

Did you know that The Broad gives away free tickets every month? Check their website in the last Wednesday of each month to claim your tickets for a free visit in the upcoming month!Whether you like the art or not it's clearly a beautiful space, well laid out, plenty of room for exhibits of all sizes, from intimate to enveloping. The staff are diligent in their commitment to keeping the art safe and secure but still allow for curious people to respectfully approach various works close up to admire the details of technique and materials used.I personally love the collection as an introduction to contemporary art for anyone interested in the "broader" themes (intended) of the modern art world. Not every piece is to my taste but the cultural importance of the collections is undeniable.

Oliver J — Google review

Contemporary art museum with a lot of amazing artworks on display. While I’m not an art person, the notes accompanying the artwork are interesting and really gets you thinking. Even the elevator and stairs are so artistic! Entry is free but you need to book zero cost ticket on their website.

Akhil S — Google review

LOVE! I greatly enjoy visiting this museum and seeing the great variety of pieces here. Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein are lifetime favorites and I am so glad they have exhibits here at this museum. Fantastic spot to spend an hour or so on weekends or week days.

My Family and I have been here several times within the last few years and The Broad does not disappoint. This museum has something for all ages, it is one of the better modern art museums I’ve been to. We spent approximately two hours enjoying the artwork. I personally enjoyed the mirrored infinity room. By the way, did I mention it’s free? Don’t forget to get your tickets online ahead of time. There’s paid parking a short walk away from the museum. There are also other museums nearby that you can walk to after enjoying the Broad.

Michelle K — Google review

The museum has some beautiful art and I love that they give a little gift if you find all the items on the app. The employees were really friendly and helpful. I liked that they were really strict of wearing the mask all the time while inside.

Chavez L — Google review

The Broad was a magnificent artistic landmark. A terrific way to spend the time in the center of Los Angeles. The museum exhibits both contemporary and traditional art.It is extremely advised. The Infinity Mirror room is also complimentary, although it requires a separate reservation. Because the Infinity room has a limited capacity, booking in advance is strongly advised to avoid disappointment.

Amanuel H — Google review

Best to buy tickets in advance online to enjoy the whole experience that the museum provides. General admission was also very cool but will have to come back and buy tickets to see the special stuff. Would be cool if everyone could see everything, but I do understand business is business. We came here spontaneously while I was in town visiting a friend and definitely made some memories. The general admission line for people who didn't have reservations or tickets took us around 30 minutes to get through. Not a bad wait for the experience!

Have you heard of galleries with stuffy old people acting like prison guards? Think again then 😀 Charming and friendly informative staff. The building is a gem with great natural light which feels like it's through Venetian blinds. Then the exhibition which is jam packed full of iconic pop art on a monumental scale in a gallery built specifically for the purpose. And it's free! What are you waiting for? Go and visit

Paul — Google review

Beautifully curated museum! The famous infinity room operates as its own attraction, so you have to reserve it in advance - sadly it’s usually booked up for a couple weeks. The pieces are super interesting, very picture/Instagram friendly. I recommend Thorax and the Roy Lichtenstein collection for some cute pictures, and of course the better-known Balloon Dog and Under the Table pieces.Good museum for beginners, or people who aren’t super “into” art. It’s fun and interactive and a good way to get your foot into the art world. 😼

Monika L — Google review

I went to view Mickalene Thomas’ special exhibit here at the Broad. The museum is free on Thursdays. The staff were very polite. They even allowed me to view the Infinity Mirror Room when tickets online weren’t available. The main museum exhibits are AWESOME! If you are a fan of viewing and interpreting art, this would be right down your alley. Also great place for a date night.

Erica M — Google review

Free Admission!! Get tickets online. Easy process, just need to choose a time slot. Great place to visit, had a few Andy Warhol. There was one exhibit that showed a film that is not recommended for children..You do have to pay for parking, I parked like a block away for $10 all day (Sunday) parking.

Pauline S — Google review

We booked tickets the morning of. They are free reservation tickets but I recommend getting them in advance because I believe they do "sell out". Firstly, the architecture of this building is incredible. The building itself is a work of art and was mind blowing just walking through the entrance. The art pieces are fascinating as well and so entertaining to look at and gain some inspiration from. It was not too crowded and was pretty easy to check everything out quickly. The exhibit is not huge and can most likely be looked through in about an hour. I highly recommend checking out The Broad as it is in a great spot of DTLA and has some iconic pieces.

Guy H — Google review

Such a great museum. Always has cool stuff on and a great collection upstairs. Awesome building too! Plus its completely free! Just reserve a timed ticket online. A must see if visiting LA

Charlotte B — Google review

A gem of an art museum that is more or less a storage facility for the massive BROAD COLLECTION. Just a small portion of the collection is on display at a time but there are some magnificent pieces to explore. Did I mention that it’s free? To get tickets just go online and select your time slot. The whole thing will take you about an hour so it’s a great way to have lunch and do a little adventure in downtown LA while you’re in town.

Alan S — Google review

We enjoyed our visit, but the main draw was the Keith Haring exhibition, which is now gone. It's a small museum, it took us less than 2 hours to see everything.Undergroung parking was plentiful, but rather expensive. They have a large crew of people directing you to your parking spot.

Andy P — Google review

I visited The Broad with my daughter when she visited from Washington state recently. She had come to the art museum once before but it was my first time and I loved it! All different types of contemporary art- from literary pieces to sculptures- everything was amazing! They have paintings from well known artists like Picasso and Andy Warhol along with pieces by artists I was not familiar with .You can visit The Broad for free and, although it doesn't require a reservation, I suggest making one online. When we arrived there were 2 sides sectioned off at the entrance. The side for people with reservations was clear and we were able to walk right up and go inside. The side for no reservations was backed up to the outside sidewalk. On the first floor there is also a section of art displayed but to see this part of the museum there is a fee. We didn't visit this part of The Broad but when I do go next time I'll pay the small fee to see this part as well!I recommend visiting The Broad for anyone who enjoys contemporary art. The staff were all very kind and helpful as well!

I'm not usually a fan of art museums because its pretty hard for me to understand the creative vision. However, this one in particular was all over my Instagram feed, and it looked great. The most popular attraction is the Mirror Room Exhibit. Entry is free into the museum and the mirror exhibit, but you have to reserve your tickets on the museum website about a month in advance, and there are reservation options with and without the mirror room. There is about a 30 minute wait to get into the mirror room, and you only get to be in there for 1 min. That one minute is absolutely worth the wait, since the room is beautifully lit up. Great place to take pictures. Other places to get cute pictures is next to the giant metal balloon dog, and the oversized dining table. It takes about an hour to see the whole museum not including the wait time for the mirror room. Its a great display of modern art for people who love art and also for those that don't really understand it. There are also some other paid exhibits that require separate tickets on the website, but I did not see any of those.

You have to have reservations to go to this museum. This is a wonderful museum real spacious the art is Giant and very interesting. There's no restaurant or amenities associated with it. The hot dog cart outside on the street is the bomb.

Ed S — Google review

Possibly the best contemporary art museums on the West Coast. Phenomenal collection. Free tickets that you have to reserve in advance from their website. Onsite parking is secure and a bit pricey at $17 on weekends but you can park here and explore other parts of downtown on foot like Little Tokyo, MocaLA (across the street from the Broad, also free) and Geffen Contemporary.

What a great modern art museum and in such a cool building. We got tickets for general admission + the infinity room about 3 weeks ahead of time, for free. You just have to remember to check at 10am on the last Wednesday of the month. The tickets for the infinity room are timed but we showed up about an hour early and had time to go through the entire third floor and get in line for the infinity room, getting us to the front of the line at exactly our ticket time. We then went through the first floor room in about 15min. We loved the infinity rooms even if you only get 1min. The third floor rooms were more interesting than downstairs with larger pieces. The building itself is great, with lots of cool dark concrete stairways. We spent about 90min here.

Parking: the museum has a flat rate parking of $17 on the weekends with great parking lot attendants to guide you through the maze. I hate paying for parking but when in downtown it’s a must.Tickets: they have special exhibits that are not included in the free entry. The infinite room is a popular attraction that must be reserved in advance to enter and experience. They also have special exhibits that require purchase$ of a ticket to view. The second level is where the free entry goers can spend their time and decipher the artworks. There are a few staple pieces and a few pieces that rotate with new and modern artists.Definitely a must do when in downtown LA.Food: right outside the museum are food trucks. Several Restaurants within walking distance too.

This is a nice pop art museum in downtown LA. The tickets are free, but you need to reserve them online. The infinity mirror exhibit requires a different ticket, but also free. We came here last minute and could only secure the general admission. It's about 1.5 to 2 hours of leisurely walking with plenty of places to rest if you choose to do so. The parking is right under the museum and costs $17 (as of 2/6/24) for three hours and you will need your validate your ticket right inside of the exit door.Note: you can check out the Miseum of Contemporary Art right across the street. It’s a bit smaller than the Broad, but for three hours of parking, you have enough time to see both very nice contemporary art museums.

Get tickets in advance. The queue can be around an hour if you don’t. The collection of works is great. All American: Warhol, Basquiat, Roy Lichtenstein and many more names are here. The museum is also very well designed and even when crowded, it didn’t feel too overwhelming. I had a great time here and recommend anyone in town to visit.

Arthur B — Google review

Since we are in the area, we thought we would check out the museum before heading to Vegas. Admission is free, you just need to book online, choose a time slot, receive a code, show it to the staff outside, and then you can enter. The middle-aged ladies outside on Wednesday afternoon at 4pm were very kind and helpful. (Just a heads up, the museum is closed on Mondays.) Inside the museum, you walk upstairs and you'll find the cool-looking flower exhibit and the giant table chair.I'm not really into art, but it's a nice activity to do in downtown LA.

Thao M — Google review

The Infinity room is the main attraction, yet it fails to keep up with the hype. You reserve a spot online, wait in a queue and get 1 minute to experience. It's just mirrors and hanging lights, if you know the idea of Infinity mirror then that's what it is.The art museum is a worth the time, compared to the Infinity room.

One best of modern museum called "The Broad"For parking there wil be staff assist you, like giving the parking ticket and for disable the staff will help show it to you.Enter the building by escalator. There will be so many painting, wall art and even super duper big dining table so amaze!!You can take picture but NO Flash allowed!Enjoy the Arts!!

Free museum housing various contemporary art piecesLove that each art piece tells a story of their times. It’s amazing to see how some of the causes the artworks have been advocating for are still so relevant now. I really do enjoy the museum. The museum is free of charge but requires reservations. I visited on a Saturday morning without knowing this. But I still got to book a place right there online and visit without wait. Even though I got my spot right when I arrived, still recommend booking in advance to make sure you can visit as planned, especially if you are traveling from afar. It’s definitely a must visit in LA besides the Getty!

徐瑞智 — Google review

I love the Getty. But I very much enjoyed also this museum. It's not nearly as large but it's got a very impressive collection of notable artists like Basquiat and Jeff Koontz that big balloon dog and the Michael Jackson and his chimp bubbles statue.I really had a nice time.

This museum is very nice. Staff is really friendly and knowledgeable. Infinity room requires advanced booking before you show up. Most of the exhibits are free. Amazing artwork.

Went here with a few friends and was delighted by the exhibits and art on display. I also saw that they had scavenger hunt pages, perfect for families with children. I will say that it was a bit warm in it, but I suppose it's hard to keep such a large place air conditioned in this summer heat. Overall wonderful experience.

Amazing museum to visit if you love contemporary art! It’s not too huge to be tiring and overwhelming, so you can truly enjoy your visit! They’ve got huge collection of Roy Lichtenstein and Basquiat. Top pieces!Loved it so much 💖Museum is free! But you need to order tickets before.

Lika M — Google review

You'll want to reserve a spot in the mirror room! They open it the last Wednesday of the month for the following month. It allows 1 group (up to 4) at a time and you get one minute turn inside! There's lots of art to view upstairs and it's truly a great place to go visit!!

Melissa D — Google review

Such a great museum if you’re a fan of contemporary art. Was amazing to see both large sculptural pieces to smaller paintings - and it was all free! There is also a section for paid exhibitions. For the Yayoi Kusama Infinity mirror exhibit, you do need to reserve ahead of time. Still worth the experience even if you’re only allowed 1 minute

Vivian L — Google review

This place changed me. During my visit, i was constantly focused, tried to understand what the author try to say. The light museum visit length is only 1 minute. You have to reserve or book the time. We spent around 70 minutes in total in this place.I have great respect to Mr. Broad for this great place.

Daehyun K — Google review

Visited this in June 2023. Place is famous for its great masterpieces and infinite mirror. They are very strict with the timing so I suggest you to book an appointment in advance and make it to right time. We really had good time seeing all the arts and creativity. The parking is complimentary if you have booked the visit with them and you need to get it reimbursed/tagged before heading back to parking lot. There are many nearby attractions like vintage cable cars. The skyline 🏙️ from this place is really impressive.

PIYUSH K — Google review

It’s small but they have great variety of contemporary art here, different sculptures and some interactive pieces. The architecture is absolutely stunning, and it’s fun to walk around. Spent about an hour or two here and I had a great time.

I have been coming here for a while now. I enjoy coming here since I appreciate art. I like to come on Thursdays in the afternoon. I was able to see Mickalene Thomas special exhibit. Then I was able to see the permanent exhibits there. They also have a store which is nice. They have parking there but I decided to park at the grand central market. Overall, it’s LA and there is parking everywhere.

Sights & Landmarks

The Walt Disney Concert Hall is an iconic, modern concert hall designed by architect Frank Gehry. The venue is the home of the Los Angeles Music Center and regularly showcases performances by the LA Philharmonic. The hall is also popular for self-guided audio tours, which are available at all times.

Absolutely incredible! The architecture is just breathtaking. Every corner that you turn is a new surprise. The concert hall itself is so incredibly laid out that acoustically it's one of the best concert Halls I've ever visited in the entire world. And it's just gorgeous. Visit for the architecture alone, but absolutely enjoy the music. Especially there new works programs. Can't wait to go again.

Love their concert hall!! Incredible sound - fell in love with this place from the Two Steps from Hell concert years ago🥰. We always came here for evening concerts and there’s barely time to go outside.Completely floored from the recent visit — we were wowed by this magnificent architectural work of wonder!!! No words can describe its beauty!! How they applied the materials and transformed light reflections… Simply stunning👍👍👍👏👏👏

A very unique building, an iconic place in LA.I did not attend a show or enter the building, but simply walking around the building and observing its curves, I was impressed at the architecture and design - unlike any other building I have seen.An interesting fact is that the exterior was supposed to be built of stone, but because of budget shortcomings, it was decided to make of stainless steel. Having seen the steel, I think it looks better than what stone would have looked.During opening hours, you are able to walk around the entire building. There is a lovely garden with shady trees at the rear of the building, and some nooks that make for a good photo opportunity.

Really enjoyed wandering around the Walt Disney concert hall! There’s a free audio tour with lots of descriptive stops across multiple floors, where you can learn more about the vision of the building, the history, and how it was made. Good narrations spanning many different points of view. An absolutely captivating architectural feat both inside and out. Home of the LA Philharmonic. Hope to be back soon for a concert!

It's very beautiful and stunning..we took a tour of the entire building, it's elite. There is paid parking nearby, and a lot of parking areas are there. There is no free parking if u are looking for one. But the best thing is u can also visit the Broad and angels flight and central market. Plus u can also take a metro to Griffith observatory bus stand from that area. So many places u can cover n pay for just one parking. The hall is marvelous and the building terrace is pretty too. N it's open on weekends because Google says it's not. There is no ticket.

I was unable to tour the inside for very long as they close at 2pm, however the upstairs garden is amazing. You are able to go through several different floral scenes and fountain. There are also a variety of places you are able to sit, which allows for some solitude in this busy LA area. I would often find myself reading or studying here as this is a great peaceful place to extend your break or stretch your legs. There are elevators available if you have a wheelchair which I found to be very useful! Great spot, glad we explored around even though it was close to closing time.

This was our first time here, even thou we lived in LA for more than 40 years. This place was awesome and wow. The architecture was top notch, the way it designed and built were breathtaking. The angles, the materials were incredible. Inside the concert hall, well it really was beautiful with excellent designs. We really loved this place and planning to coming back for future concerts.

The Walt Disney Concert Hall is a beautiful, magical spot, inside out! A definite must experience place in Los Ángeles. The ticket booth is on 1st and Grand as well as some iconic steps. When you walk in there are lots of staff members available to direct you to your seats/ floor. There is a cafeteria and bar on the main floor. Prices are at a premium yet all the choices look excellent- subs, salads, candy, cookies, chips, bar drinks. The concert hall is absolutely magical. Incredible, clean sound from the bohemian strings performance we listened to. The gift shop is filled with unique and cool items! Large, clean restrooms available. Parking is $10 in the underneath structure.

Directly across the road from The Broad Museum. The Walt Disney Concert Hall is an absolutely stunning work of architecture from Frank Gehry, who also designed (among others) The Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain. The sweeping metal exterior panels of the building are intended to portray the architects love of sailing. The Concert Hall's stunning visuals (both interior and exterior)are matched by its amazing acoustics which can be experienced by its resident orchestra, The LA Philharmonic, among other performances by various artists throughout the year.Guided or self guided tours are available free of charge, daily from 10am to 3pm.

Review for a self guided walk-in tour of the building and grounds. The building and grounds are stunning. It's worth to walk around and explore. To the left of the building (outside) there are stairs that leads to the gardens with views of downtown. It's a great place to experience the dimensions of the metal structures. A glimpse of Frank Gehry's designer's mind! Great place to watch the sunset and to take incrediable photos.I was able to walk around the lobby and see this architectural beauty from the inside. I'm not sure if it is open to the public but you should definitely try if you are there already!

The Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles is a remarkable architectural masterpiece that every art and music enthusiast should visit. Designed by renowned architect Frank Gehry, the building impresses with its fluid and elegant lines, creating a distinctive exterior. Inside, you'll find an equally impressive atmosphere, with flawless acoustics that make every musical performance unforgettable.Conveniently located in the heart of Los Angeles, the hall is easily accessible, and its diverse range of programs—from classical concerts to contemporary performances—satisfies even the most discerning audience. It's definitely worth visiting not only for a concert but also to admire the brilliance of the architecture and feel the spirit of creativity that permeates the air.

I went to hear the LA Phil play Prokofiev Symphony 5, two other pieces were on the concert including Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto #2. This was an exciting performance. The piano soloist was exceptional both technically and musically. Prokofiev was gorgeous, this was my first time hearing Prokofiev 5 live and it was a real treat. The orchestra sounds so polished!

Fantastic concert hall with great acoustics and excellent views from every seat. The organ is beautiful and powerful. The exterior is somehow even more amazing in person than by looking at the pictures, the interior has some cool decorations (the concert schedule, musical puns and more are on a split-flap display in the main lobby) and is easy to navigate. The only thing NOT easy to navigate is the parking garage: from 110 North "all downtown exits", take the fourth street exit and then keep left for the turning lane onto Lower Grand. The parking garage can be found on the left at the end.

Frank Gehry's masterpiece. Extraordinary outside and inside. Fabulous architecture but wonderful acoustics and sumptuous materials used. The LA Phil is a world class orchestra. My second visit here and both performances have been outstanding. Just buy a ticket, get there early to explore and enjoy

It wasn’t clear whether the general public can enter the concert hall and there was a group of teens with signage on the steps out front when we went, so we avoided the inside entirely and checked out the garden at the back instead. The garden is up a flight of stairs / or on to an accessible ramp for those who have troubles with mobility. It was very peaceful up there was a variety of plants and trees. It offers a good view of the city and the hills. There are also a few tables with chairs that you can use for dining or conversations. A built-in amphitheater is also available to check out. Overall, it is really serene up in the gardens and is a good place to walk around for 15-30 minutes looking at the plants and the city landscape.

This place is a perfect traveler destination for the experience if you want to shake up your senses.Visually beautiful building designed by Frank Garry. The patio outdoor spaces are great with lots of shade. The interior is amazing. The accustics are really good, even at the very back balcony. The view to the orchestra and performance is great.I came to see a musical with my kids. It was an amazing experience. They loved it and have lots of fun. It's something I had always wanted to do. Not many people visit this place as an attraction but let me tell you that you are missing out. Most of the performances are from non commercial artists and that is probably why there is not of interest in attending. Hopefully with more reviews people can start attending and appreciate the building and experience it brings to LA travelers.

Saw Kraftwerk on one of their nights. What can you say about this place. The pictures don't lie. Unfortunately Kraftwerk brought their own sound system and in my view blew it. It did not leverage the insane acoustics of the space well at all. But that's not the venues issue. Comfortable seats, cafe and cocktail options. Wonderful architecture. Beautiful garden. World class facility.

Awesome building inside and out. The signage inside could be a little better, but there were courteous ushers at every door, so finding your way around won't be very difficult. The seating is just roomy enough to be comfortable. It was a bit creaky though, and if people in the row above move, you will feel their movement. Sound was great, and views in the orchestra section were amazing. The gardens outside are a nice touch. I would love to come back soon to see another concert. Also, the store had wonderful novelties and gifts!

Stadium

Sights & Landmarks

Dodger Stadium is the third-oldest stadium in MLB and was opened in 1962. It is located in Elysian Park, in Los Angeles, and has a seating capacity of 56,000. The Dodger Stadium has seen many successful years for the Dodgers since its opening and has been home to an MVP (Clayton Kershaw) and 3 World Series titles.

What can you say , it’s a historic landmark! I love coming to the stadium ⚾️🧢 the culture the team and just the overall excitement of attending a Dodgers game. I find the staff to be always helpful and super friendly. Pricing it is relatively very very inexpensive for what you get tickets range from anywhere between $10-$80 depending on which seats you would like, in my opinion I think they’re all pretty good seats it’s all about the experience. Parking is about $20 and it’s a bit of a walk to the stadium but look at it this way you can walk off your dodger dog and nachos and get your steps all at the same time. Now, Play Ball 🏟⚾️

Roland P — Google review

Fun, fun, fun. Great crowds, lots of parking, good staffing, interesting photo op areas inside the gates, stores for souvenirs, family activities, game day food of a great variety, dodger dogs of course, and drinks for the young and old. Note- cash is not the payment of choice in the stands, cards are preferred if not only allowed. The stadium is well kept & the mature plants on the grounds are beautiful. The sky above the stadium dances with those famous southern California clouds as you enjoy the day at the Ball game, performing "the Wave" with the crowd in the stands. Take YOURSELF to the ball game, and enjoy!!!!

Pamela S — Google review

Great place to watch a baseball game but there are some shortfalls. Good selection of concessions and food items especially Dodger Dogs. Due to it being an older Stadium, it is difficult to get around to find your seats as you need to find the correct stairs or elevator to reach your level. Right and left field pavilion seats are on benches. Parking at the stadium is a mess after games. Takes forever to leave the parking area as you are sitting in traffic for over 30 minutes not moving. I suggest you use the Metro Dodger Express Shuttle from Union Station or South Bay Station for a much easier experience getting to and from the stadium.

I went to the stadium tour and learned so many things about dodgers’ history and how beautiful their stadium is! You can also go into the field and that made me so excited! The dodgers is stadium is one of the most amazing stadiums I’ve ever been to! The season has started and I’ll come back to their games next time! I love LA and dodgers. Let’s go dodgers!!

DAISUKE I — Google review

Dodger Stadium was the 11th stadium I’ve been to, and it definitely lived up to the hype.First off, the number of shops gives you various options and a range of different cuisines from Japanese to Mexican and of course the classics. (Hot dogs, Pizza, Ice cream, Cracker Jacks, Chicken tenders, etc.) However, premium seating is available, with a free buffet, depending on the type. Also, there are team stores with merch literally everywhere. (you won’t miss them)In addition, the stadium is really well designed and symmetrical, making the view great from essentially every seat.If you are going to visit, I do strongly recommend that you sign up for either one of the tours on a non game day or a pregame tour about 3.5 hours prior to first pitch. I was fortunate enough to be able to participate in said tour (pregame tour) and enjoyed every moment of it. The tour took us to exclusive spots, including the suites, front office, trophy room, etc. Seeing all the behind-the-scenes action and how the team is managed was a real treat.Overall, it was a great experience, and I hope to visit again, especially with the loud and passionate fans making the experience so much better. (I watched the Dodgers take on the Angels, and it was a sold-out crowd both days, about 50,000) Electric atmosphere. A night to remember.

First time watching a baseball game and it didn’t disappoint despite us sitting at the top deck. Great view from up there. Stadium was huge, lots of food options, crowd is crazy. Dodgers lost to Diamondbacks yet still great vibes until we left.Overall, awesome experience. Will definitely go back and tour some family and friends visiting in the future. 🙌

What can you say about an icon that turns 60 this year? I hope I look that good when I'm that old. All of the staff that our little group interacted with were very courteous and helpful. The prices for the food and drinks were a little more than I thought it should of been, but just figured it's LA. The food was very good the garlic fries smelled great.

A beautiful ballpark and awesome environment for any sports/baseball fan. Even if you're not a fan, check out the park for a nice time in the scenic outdoor park. Some advice: If you do go to a game, definitely go early to beat the traffic or... consider parking outside the stadium to avoid the traffic after the game. Parking is also $20-30!

Jason — Google review

Such a great time! All of the workers were friendly. The parking lot staff had traffic moving in and out with ease. You do have to pre pay for parking. Also they don't allow purses or bags, but you can bring see threw back packs. I saw a ton of people that brought snacks in them. And, we bought smart water for $7 bucks a piece. When the lady checked us out, she told us that they allow you to bring water bottles in the stadium.

Betty A — Google review

We❤️everything Dodgers, including the crowds, the noise, and the stadium BUT they've changed 🌭 vendors (Stick with veggie dogs), and food/drink prices will set you back like Disney. BE SMART=Fill your clear tote with plastic water bottles you can refill for free and a few snacks like🥜,🍿, and cotton candy from the Dollar Store. Then, when you splurge on $20 nachos,🍻, and maybe the (all beef, grilled) Dodger Dog, it won't hurt too much. 😉😋💙GO DODGERS!💙

Lisa L — Google review

This is my first time ever in a stadium and I have to say it was an enjoyable experience. Although I am not a baseball fan, I did like the game... besides, the Dodgers won that evening! The stadium has capacity for 56,000 people but it doesn't feel crowded. The seats are well spaced, and the rows are not too narrow. The food was OK. The Dodger Dogs were tasty, but the fries were too salty, and a bottle of water is $7, so a bit expensive (somewhat like airport bottled water, ha ha!). I will say that I look forward to coming back!

Argentina G — Google review

Well what can I say, dodger stadium. Attended a game here on our first trip to Los Angeles and of course it was an incredible experience. I read a little bit about the best gate to enter we found proceeded into the stadium. The stadium itself is incredible tons of food and drink options. We're able to get some dodgers clothing for relatively cheap and make our way to the upper portion to find our Seats. The choices of food were a little lacking in the upper portion so I suggest getting what you want to eat on the ground level there is way more options. The view was absolutely picturesque. The game was incredible Dodgers won the game. We left one inning early to beat the traffic and had no trouble getting out. Police everywhere directing traffic and stopping traffic it was a breeze. Yes remember coming in and out there are residential areas so it can be a little tight.

As always a great time.love Blue heaven on earth. Even though I am from Cali and live in AZ, it will always be home. Parking prices are getting way too expensive as well as the food. God forbid they be reasonable though

Alex B — Google review

My first time at a baseball stadium thanks to Wayfair for purchasing the tickets for me and fellow co-workers. Dodger Stadium was really wonderful and enjoyed my time there. Food & beverages may be a little on the costly side, but they are completely worth it if you enjoy watching a ball game with fellow friends and/or family. The Dodger Stadium staff were very helpful in assisting me and a friend in locating our seats as well as the facilities. I arrived very early to the stadium which I snagged myself a LA Dodgers Jason Heyward bobble head!LA Dodgers just got themselves a new fan!

I love Dodger stadium! Great food, great views, and so much fun! Make sure to get there early (30 min to an hour at least) because parking and the line to get in can take a lot of time. Also, make sure to get a Dodger Dog!

Maria G — Google review

Amazing venue!Great place to experience a concert under the LA stars. Concession stands also offered really cool Dodgers souvenir drink options worth checking out. We purchased a cool wine carafe with built in cups, all reusable and practical. Staff was also very friendly. Great experience all in all.

Dodger Stadium has really changed since I was a kid! Downside: Farmer John no longer makes the Dodger Dogs, which seems like a sin. Upside: the Pavilion is a great place to experience the love game but still keep the kids entertained (jungle gym), keep up with other sports (the sports bars) and you don't miss the game because of the large screens and unassigned seating. Make sure you get a pic at field level under the "Blue Heaven on Earth" sign!

My first experience at Dodger Stadium was as vibrant as I've seen on TV. An early setback for the Dodgers sucked the energy out of the place.Transportation was a breeze, thanks to the Dodger shuttle from Union Station. Despite the queue, the frequent buses ensure an effective boarding experience.I arrived ahead of game time to snap some photos and enjoy a brief stadium tour. Entry was efficient and hassle-free.While there was a notable line for refreshments outside, it thins out during the game — a tip for those wanting to avoid the wait. The Dodger fans were gracious hosts to some Arizona fans I spotted on the bus.

Rick the supervisor was very unkind, I noticed another customer open and extend their shirt and the XL was extremely big. I went up to Rick and told him I didn't realize the XL shirt was so big and if he could do a one time exception that the shirt was still packaged and unopen. He proceeded that he couldn't make that exception that if he did it for me he had to do it for everyone. Now, if you're only going to offer the customers medium or XL jerseys they why don't you mention that before people purchase the tickets. And make sure the fit size chart is available for the customer. Such an inconvenience.

Always a great experience at Dodger Stadium. I've been going here since the ‘70s and have seen the changes over the years, but I still get nostalgic every time from going with my dad to bringing my kids and now grandkids. Let’s go Dodgers!

Attending my first game at Dodgers Stadium was an unforgettable experience! The atmosphere was electric, and being surrounded by fellow fans made it even more exhilarating. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the moment I arrived, the staff members were incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Whether it was directing me to my seat or answering my questions, they did so with a smile, adding to the overall enjoyment of the game. However, I did notice that the cleanliness of the bathrooms left something to be desired. While I understand the challenges of maintaining high traffic areas during events, I hope the stadium management can address this issue to enhance the overall experience for attendees.Additionally, while the food options were decent, I would have loved to see a larger variety available. While classic stadium fare is always appreciated, offering a wider range of culinary options would cater to a broader audience and enhance the dining experience for all.Overall, despite a few minor areas for improvement, my time at Dodgers Stadium was fantastic thanks to the wonderful staff and the electric atmosphere. I look forward to returning for future games and witnessing more unforgettable moments.

Section 47RS is along the 3rd base line and was a great seat. I could easily watch the game. The facility was clean and the employees were friendly. Parking could be improved on. Better signs leading to entrances and on property.

First time there and a Giants fans. Beautiful weather and a first class operation. Heard some stories about Giants fans getting harassed there. Total nonsense as far as I'm concerned. Everyone was great. If you don't like the traffic, tell somebody who cares!

A definite must if your a fan or not. Beautiful setting. Amazing tour. Husband is s life long fan and truly loved all the team history displayed throughout the park. Do the TOUR!!!

Valerie D — Google review

This was stadium 1 on our stadium tour and I loved it. Seats were great. We both had the dodger dogs. Food prices are reasonable. Being a baseball fan you can feel the history.

Caroline M — Google review

I love baseball and I've been to about a dozen parks, this is one of the best. Where most clubs tear down the old and build new, the Dodgers have meticulously maintained and augmented this wonderful art Deco Park. Make sure to take the tour - yes there is a tour - before the game to get the full impact. Dodgers fans will appreciate the extensive exhibitions throughout the ballpark. Go Braves!

Ari I — Google review

It's a very clean stadium. The atmosphere is amazing. Sadly, the dodgers lost, but it was a fun game. The food options are good. Their was a drone show at the end, and it was awesome it was so cool. Overall, a good experience would be recommended.

The DodgerFest was a really fun event. There were many activities and booths to purchase Dodger memorabilia. It is a fun filled day for kids and adults. The food booths were open and serving all your favorite Dodger grub and beverages. There is free parking and you can sit in the stadium to take a break from all the fun. This is a great event geared towards kids and fans having fun enjoying all things Dodgers

Juniormajr — Google review

The stadium is a great place to enjoy the game, have some food and to explore around. The atmosphere and coziness is great. We sat in the pavilion section and while it was bench seating we greatly enjoyed the view and how close we could be to the players. Also had several balls thrown our way (more closer to foul lines). Best part was Friday night drone show which we were able to go onto the field for.Only downside to the day was the 30-45min to get out of the parking lot (but we expected it to be slow).

Eric M — Google review

Great tour - included the team locker room (no photos allowed) and walking on the field and hanging out in the Dodgers dugout. Our tour guide was very engaging and knowledgeable. My spouse is a lifelong Dodgers fan, so this was an especially great opportunity for him. Recommended!

Sydney H — Google review

Well it is the Dodgers stadium, a fan friendly home baseball field for the Dodgers. The food fare is great, Seats positioned well, views are great. Some parking situation that can be remedied but who doesn’t have a parking problem with thousands odd cars flocking the area during a game. Well balanced staff for each area.

Amit K — Google review

It's always a good experience with family and friends. We always bring in our snacks to avoid overspending, but you really can't go wrong with the dodger dog, pretzel, nachos, and soft serve ice cream. We sat in the Lower Reserve section and had a good view of the drone show on this night.

Ruby R — Google review

The park was better than I expected. The concessions weren’t as good as I thought they could be. Can be hard to find certain items as each stand is slightly different. Uber picks up and drops off in a designated lot (Lot 11). Ubering in and out was easy.

A dream come true! Finally, I got to see the Dodgers play here not long ago, and they did not disappoint! The stadium is huge and has some of the best dogs ever!We enjoyed the game and the atmosphere here. I can't wait to come back next year and do it all again, Lord willing! The parking was the only thing a bit dodgy here. We expected that, though, so no real surprise. Thanks for a fantastic day of baseball!

Had a wonderful time watching a Dodgers game with my cousin and her kids. Great garlic, french fries and of course a Dodgers dog. Thoroughly enjoyed our time and had great seats. Highly recommend visiting a game when in LA.

Vivian F — Google review

Always a great time at the ballpark! Great place to see a game, be a part of history and yell for the Dodgers. I do wish they would go back to the old Dodger dogs. New ones aren't the same. Not as good. Also, do we need to pay $20 for a beer? I got a Dodger Dog, fries and a beer -$40. Just wish it wasn't quite as price gouging. I do love going to the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes games though! Great Dodger affiliate baseball at a fraction of the price!

Brandon G — Google review

First time at Dodger stadium and it was one of the best experiences I've had in a stadium. From parking lot to entrance it was a shirt walk. So many good food and drink options. Of course expect stadium prices. Saw a lot of families with young kids, they also had a bunch of free play areas for the kids with security guards watching over them.Got the free promo Kelly 99 jersey with my pavilion ticket. I'm hooked on pavilion seating now.

Michelle — Google review

Great Stadium, Unique experience, very easy to get to and to find tickets. I walked/scooter my way and avoid all the traffic. I had all the fun shopping in their stores and exploring the stadium. It's huge and the crowd is so much fun. Many food and drink options.

Karen V — Google review

Had a blast! We got to enjoy the game at suite level and take advantage of all the food and drinks they offer up there! So much fun! The stadium feels like a blast from the bast! Loved going and seeing the dodgers vs padres!

ZechCrew { — Google review

It's all in the little details, and this classic stadium has them in spades. From the sun, surf, and sand colored seating...to the beautifully curated landscaping, this place is a jewel. I adore coming here to watch baseball and have fun with other fans. It's always a great time. The staff are friendly and helpful, the parking is plentiful and there are plenty of options for food. Getting in and out of the parking can be busy and tricky, but you should expect that with so many people navigating around it at the same time. I suggest parking farther away from the stadium near an exit for the best experience. Also a good idea to study a map of the stadium before you go so you know which parking lot to use for your seating, so you can avoid having to climb all the stairs to get to your level. Go Dodgers! Blue Heaven!

Christine C — Google review

Great day at the park! Loads of staff to help you easily get in and out. Food is reasonable by stadium standards (beer is pricey). The stadium itself is beautiful, with loads of interesting dual/triple language signs in English, Japanese, and Spanish. The Dodgers put on a great show, too.

Thomas E — Google review

Great place to watch some Big League Ball. Beer is $20. Food can be bad but you can pack your own. Bring a transparent tote to carry sunscreen and any sealed water bottles less than 1L ($9 inside the stadium)

The Crypto.com Arena is a 21,000-seat multi-purpose arena located in Downtown LA, which has been home to the Los Angeles Lakers, Kings, Clippers and Sparks of the NBA; WNBA's Los Angeles Sparks; AFL's Los Angeles Avengers. The venue has also hosted Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift among many other top acts.

We went for Disney on Ice last month and it was great! Parking and getting in was easy and quick for those with vaccine records or record of a negative test already in hand. Restrooms were clean and I live that you can order noisy food and drinks online or on kiosks. The show was amazing and we had a blast.(It will forever be THEE Staples Center)

Visited for a hockey game and the stadium is huge with great parking options. Lots of food and drinks on all levels. Lot of people there but we never felt crowded. Great light show. Good view even from the top corner of the arena. Good music and signage. Overall a great experience.

This has always been a very well maintained facility. There's plenty of knowledgeable ushers to guide you around the huge building. Good and drink selection is pretty decent for a sports arena. It always fun being at " Staples Center /Crypto.com arena "

Sunil K — Google review

I'm always going to call this place Staples Center or Kobe's place! The arena is nice, the workers are nice, the bathrooms were clean and I had a great time at the Sparks game. It was my first WNBA game and it was so much fun. Those players deserve more support from their cities.

Tasha C — Google review

Big, loud, crazy good arena to watch hockey 🏒. Nice choice of vendors , lots of easily accessible restrooms 🚻. The Kings were accommodating enough to lose to my Boston Bruins 🐻🖤💛, so I even got to see a live goalie hug! Great place to Celebrate a Hockey 🏒 Birthday Party 🎉 🥳!

Judy L — Google review

Amazing arena. If you get the chance to watch a team or someone perform here, definitely take it! Just like most stadiums, parking can sometimes be a pain but there are many parking structures beside it or around the area. I recommend parking a bit farther just so that you can get out of the traffic mess post-game though.

Raihana Z — Google review

Haven't been here since it was the Staples Center. Love the variety of food and drinks within the arena. Also wonderful that they had multiple merch stands so everyone is not just lining up in one gigantic line! Staff is friendly and helpful getting people to their seats.Surprisingly, the nosebleeds were still decent! It was not as far as I thought it would have been looking at the seating chart. The sound is alright, maybe it just sounds a little too echo-y for country and acoustic shows, as I could not for the life of me understand what the performer said when they were speaking. But the instruments were loud and clear! It was still a great and fun experience!Trying to get out of the parking lots after the show was a whole level of hell. Was stuck in there for an extra hour after the show ended just trying to get out of the lot. The congestion at street level was a nightmare as well. They need to somehow handle that with better traffic control.

Cristine — Google review

Iconic venue in the middle of downtown that plays host to a wide array of sports, concerts, and other events. Parking may be tough, but once inside, everything is clean and modern and there are tons of food choices (the prices, especially for alcohol, are quite inflated though). Even the cheap seats have a good view, although they're a little higher up than normal thanks to all the boxes.

Christopher R — Google review

Came for Hockey! LA Kings vs. The Maple Leafs.Ate food at Salt and Char (their fries were perfectly crispy and good but burger was eh).For such a frequently visited arena, I would think they would provide better food. Even the Dodger’s stadium has good food!My husband and I found parking nearby and it was for $30. Didn’t have to walk far at all. They do have plenty of restrooms so that was good cause them lines get LOOOONG!!Inside, seating is kinda scary at the top (I feel I could easily topple over) but it’s pretty nice and when the bass is used, you can feel it to the point where it vibrates throughout your whole body and could make breathing feel different.I’m sure the suites and closer seating is nice. Hopefully, one day can afford to experience that!

Jessica Y — Google review

My first time there at the Crypt and it was very nice! Went to a Kings game. Kings lost to San Jose.Since it was a Kings game it wasn't packed so getting drinks wasn't too long.Bathrooms are a different issue. Long lines even though the arena was half empty. Go early if you can to beat the lines.

Toulong Y — Google review

A historical place, feels surreal inside. The rafters, the retired jerseys and everything else you see on TV, just come to life. The arena feels much bigger compared to other ones I have been to. The arena does a good job of keeping the crowd energetic. Lots stars can be spotter during the game. The merchandise store has long lines before the game, but they vwr fast. The store lacks in inventory of different sizes of different product. There are lots of dining options, but they are all unrealistically expensive. You will easily spend $50 eating a hot dog and drinking a beer.Overall the arena feels very safe and secure. Has lots of exits, so getting out after the game is convenient.

Nehal A — Google review

We went here to watch a NBA game - Lakers vs Suns. It was full of capacity, but we enjoyed. This facility is modern and clean.Notes:You are not allowed to bring any food or beverage including water in NBA match. You need to buy so expensive beverages and foods (and not so delicious) inside.

Taku — Google review

From Australia. Line up was smooth for entry. Staff at security ultra helpful, gave directions and just generally happy. Food was expensive but tasty. Super easy to order as well. Staff everywhere were great. Leaving afterwards was a smooth process. We parked underneath but still quick process. Parking we paid $40 and drove straight in. Forgot to pre book but dumb luck we had great experience with parking. Great experience

Let me start by saying, wow! I love STAPLES CENTER. I have been to almost every NBA Arena, and this one takes the crown. I felt like I was in a coliseum. The seats were great & so was the fan experience. The optics were spectacularly breathtaking. The game was electrifying with a magnitude that compared to no other! I look forward to the next time I am able to step foot into this arena!

Thaddius M — Google review

I came here for the Celtics & Lakers game on 7 December. I had a great experience visiting. The arena is very logically laid out and the food was tasty (albeit pricey). Check in was very efficient and the staff were very kind. Even in the cheap seats I had, it was still a good view. The huge screens help and add to it as well. I even won a jersey!Definitely keeping this one in mind if I come back for another game soon. Thank you!

J B — Google review

I have not been here since about 2013 and I must say it was still an amazing experience. Plenty of concession stands everywhere, restrooms available in short distances. For it being LA the food prices is not too bad, same with the beverages. I was fortunate enough to sean in section 101 row 1, fantastic view of the Lakers game. Staff was very friendly and always available to help with any questions you may have. It was a full house and the energy was great, I will definitely make plans to come back. I might also do a different event all together.

Joser V — Google review

It was clean in the public area, our seating in 300s was not, the entrance for American express holders was perfect to get in easily and parking was free if you go early enough. The down was that the food kiosks weren't open when we went in and Section 300s are way too high up.They were kind to let us go out front to smoke, but having to have the original tickets to get back in was a pain, my husband had to come get me from the 300s. Maybe they need to find a balcony for the smokers there weren't many or stamp their hands with a different stamp every night.

As I am born in the 90s, this will still be Kobe's Staples for me. Just so nice to walk around on a good day and watch the game live. Great times for LA this season.

Loved the whole NBA experience. Very great arena, easy to access with public transportation, security check is very fast. There are lots of choices to eat inside.

Went to my first Basketball game, Clippers playoff game. Purchased the VIP seats (C05), a really great price compared to the Lakers. The arena staff was very nice. Food was good, your standard sports price. Would definitely recommend experiencing the VIP suites if at all possible, definitely a good experience. The sound and lighting effects were superb. A very enjoyable time.

Went to a Laker game. I liked the stadium. Big and new. But not much to see inside other than the mural. The parking situation is horrible. Paid online for a reserved parking spot for 80 dollars. But when we got into the garage we were just like everyone else. Except they paid 40 to park. We parked in the back area of the stadium. So we did see the little festival area in front for the game. No souvenir cups. Food prices about the normal. Cool area lots to do before and after.

Beautiful Arena. Organized. Friendly staff. Traffic and parking aren't too bad or expensive. Love it here for sports events. Went here for a concert. I was disappointed they didn't have viewing screens up. The only option was up to look at the floor from such a large arena!

Michole S — Google review

Awesome arena, first time here. Lots of parking. Parking was cheap (compared to what I am used to in Vancouver and Seattle).Friendly workers, awesome fans. Kings lost though which was a bummer but my son was happy to see the red wings win. 😜Great view despite being in section 327, row 4, seats 9-12. Pics show view from that section.

LA kings game was a phenomenal experience. Never been to a hockey game before, and was totally worth it. The light&sound show, the player entrances, and the breaks were so entertaining. We witnessed 3 fights in one game so the crowd was loud. We got a suite and the private viewing was cherry on the cake. Highly recommend the game and the experience!

Kinda of a fun last minute get together with one of my good friend and her boyfriend. We sat at section 102 row G, seats 5 and 6. Not too shabby. The arena was clean and actually easy to fet around. We saw the Kings play against Calgary. We won 4-1!

Very nice place, I was looking for someUnique athletic wear from the store but things just seem normal. I would of likedTo see some LA swag that you can only buy in LA. Authentic to the Crypto Arena. No complaints though, the statues out front was enough for me and paying homage to the greats from announcing , Hockey, and Basketball. California Love ❤️

If you are a Lakers fans or you root for the other team, this is the place to be! It bleeds purple and gold. Full with so much history and statues of Lakers legends, great ambience! Games are electric with passion flowing. LA Kings also play here. If you are willing to walk a couple of blocks, easy $15 parking available close by. Gets you away from crowds too.

First time at a kings hockey game! Staff was very friendly and helpful. We brought our children, the speakers are very loud. They offer free headphones for children, but you will need to give them a photo ID to hold. Very cool statues infront of the arena, enjoyed out time!

The LA Kings game was absolutely phenomenal. I didn’t realize how awesome of an experience it would be at a hockey game on the weekday. Not only was the purchasing of the tickets and easy process but also the parking as well. Of course the food was great. The drinks also. Although it is quite pricey it was still a great experience. I have to give a shout out to the hotdog vendors outside of the venue, those were amazing, and I highly recommend everyone to get some hotdogs before and after the game. I was even impressed with the waiters who came to service in our seats that was an interesting and very convenient feature. I’m definitely coming back and bringing more people with me to an LA Kings hockey game.

Rob P — Google review

It's totally amazing! I went to Lakers' game vs. Chicago Bulls last night. Great game 141/ 131 was the final score 😊. Easy to go in and out, no problem for parking. We paid $40 for parking. Seats were good, section 206, and we paid $400 for two tickets. I really recommend this place, staff everywhere and helpful. We enjoyed last night game.

Safe area all around lighting and people everywhere. Went here for a Luis Miguel concert and I really liked how safe it was outside and how figuring out where to go was easy with all the staff around helping. Fun fact they have 10% off drinks when using an American Express credit card. Plenty of restrooms everywhere

Janneane R — Google review

Love the games in any seat, it's clean, staff is friendly and nice. The food and drinks are a little pricey, but hey, that's LA for you. Lots of things to choose from and the team shop is always stocked! The Season ticket Reps. are all lovely and very current on upcoming events. The bathrooms are checked regularly and the seats are clean. It's nice to go, but it can get loud as well as crowded.

Jasmine C — Google review

Great arena but I was a bit scared in section 301 in the first row. There is no safety bar or glass that's waist level so you have to be very careful to walk in the row. It's dangerous. Anyone can be pushed or accidentally fall over the balcony because they tripped over someone's feet in the row to get to their seat.. That safety glass should be higher than the measly 5 inches. I enjoyed the Missy Elliott concert and the view but I will never get seats in that area again in the first row there.

A L — Google review

I love going to games here but you definitely are not gonna save any money trying to have refreshments or food. Beers are $18 currently. Great view for many angle typically friendly staff and fun fun. Don’t miss the statues out front.

My first experience to an NBA game, this stadium is really cool. From the entrance to the inside, everything is so organized. A lot of merchandise are sold here. More than i've ever seen elsewhere. Food and drink stations are everywhere. This franchise has been very successful through out the years. Great experience

Went to LA Sparks game. Recommend using clear bags (purse or small backpack) when attending any event (easy way to get through security). Food and drinks are expensive and not that great. Eat B4 you go or afterwards. Restrooms were clean and well stocked. The staff were helpful and friendly. Go early to find your seats and take advantage of some great photo opportunities.

Historic Walking Areas

Venice Canals are a beautiful historical landmark in Venice Beach that date back to 1905. They're surrounded by cute beach homes and an adorable duck pond, and they're one of the most popular attractions in the city.

Venice Canals is most definitely a must see if you happen to be in the area! It is such a beautiful and peaceful place to be walking around. The canals are so beautiful with the unique bridges, the houses are all so uniquely cute. A great place to be!

Jean-Yves B — Google review

A visit to Venice is not complete without a stroll along these stunningly beautiful, almost always sunny canals. It's a great place for a walk and admire the palm trees, the cute little houses, the perfect reflections...If I can be honest, however, I get tired and bored pretty quickly. Everything is pretty much man made, it pleases the eyes not the mind or heart.

Y? W — Google review

Absolutely beautiful, an architectural dream and best kept secret. This was by far the most interesting activity that I did in LA. The narrow pathways, beautiful homes and lovely feeling. Make this a must do on your visit to LA. Also, don’t rush it, and don’t forget to smell the roses 🌹. Free parking in Meredith Avenue, with convenient access to the canals.

Patrick P — Google review

One of the best hidden places in LA. A MUST VISIT of you come to Santa Monica beach. The place it so beautiful maintained. They have a nice walk way and the residents have beautiful flowers adorning the path. Some of the canals have ducks and birds and it is absolutely pleasing to see them fly and swim in the canal. DO NOT FEED THE BIRDS.We were there for an hour or more and the weather was so good to enjoy the walk. Parking is free but you have to be careful where you are parking. Also you can put a timer on your phone to keep track of tine. Bring some snacks to eat. A cup of tea would not be bad either.

Tas A — Google review

Very nice and cozy spot. Quiet and peaceful. It has a little sidewalk to walk around and enjoy the scenery especially while jogging. this is really nice area to live in with a few minutes walk to the beach. However, I lowkey feel bad that this is also part of someones backyard.

I love this place , many pretty colors, plants and flowers even the houses alongside the canal with their colors patio sets of chairs . It's nice and quiet for a walk with your dog and kids. They filmed the movie Valentines Day here I remember Ashton Kutcher on that bridge heartbroken 💔. It's a nice stop and stretch your leg from driving along the PACIFIC coast of California. I highly recommend . Venice Beach is at the end of the canal . ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️

Mayo B — Google review

It’s a community .Nice place and nicely maintained.Be respectful for private property as houses are located on the canals. You may walk around and explore the small bridges and different canals. We have been there during Memorial Day long weekend. And there were lot of other people like us.Looks like it’s one of the famous photo spot to do some photoshoot. We find lot of people doing photoshoot here on bridges. If you have time and just want to walk around, it’s a nice place to go.

Venice Los Angeles wouldn’t live up to it’s Italian namesake very well if it weren’t for these incredibly scenic canals. Located just off of the main Venice downtown, this network of canal-filled streets is a wonderful neighborhood to explore.

Matty B — Google review

Site located near the beach and pier. Nice stroll to walk along.Walkway along the canal are tight, can only be accessed on foot. There are parking around the canal, as well as roads for vehicles in the middle of the canal. Traffic is one way only, from east to west. There is a small park on the north west side of the canal

Sneak away from Venice Beach and discover the sequestered world of the Venice Canals. It's honestly such a great spot to take a special someone - to walk around and enjoy the clear reflective water.During Christmas time, it's even more beautiful! Also you can glance at all the houses along the canal which you would probably cannot afford (or at least I can't).

It was great. The visitors and locals were very friendly, the houses had fountains and great decorations, and the area was very quiet. The only thing I noticed is that the water is turning green, from my perspective. But it was a nice trip and very relaxing.

Emanuel R — Google review

Very cool. Please be mindful that this really isn't a tourist trap. It's a residential neighborhood. So be respectful when wandering around people's homes. Other than that. You can freely walk around and see some nice birds and homes. Keep in mind you will need to park outside the area and walk in.

Jason C — Google review

Beautiful, magical and quiet place right next to Venice Beach with its crowds. For me, it's definitely a place you should have seen in LA. Take your time and walk all the canals.Unfortunately, the water level is a bit low at the moment, which takes something away from the place. But still beautiful.

Jonny — Google review

Easily one of my favorite places on the west side, especially during the holidays. If you enjoy looking at beautiful homes and leisurely walks, this is a must. Right off Washington Blvd, there's lots of options for a bite or a drink right off the canals or you can continue on two blocks to the beach or the Venice boardwalk.

Melissa P — Google review

What an imaginary world outside away from downtown, so quiet so beautiful as if you’re standing in Venice Europe. To be honest, I’m so envious the residents here could own such beautiful house at such wonderful place.

Stanley Y — Google review

The Venice Canals are such a pleasant and quiet place, it doesn’t even feel like you are in LA. Strolling along the serene canals with their charming bridges and beautiful homes was a delightful experience. I highly recommend walking around and not using a car to fully enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and scenic views. It’s a hidden gem in the bustling city, perfect for a relaxing and picturesque outing.

GL F — Google review

A beautiful area to stroll through with friends and family. The area is designed like the venice canal in Venice, Italy. It is free, calm and peaceful.

Mariyag24 — Google review

I've always wanted to visit this place that I saw countless times in movies and it's been up to the expectations: there's really a magical atmosphere around here. These canals were built in 1905 by Abbot Kinney to recreate the appearance of Venice in Italy.

Francesco X — Google review

Amazing place with charisma, great atmosphere, unique character and pedestrian friendly infrastructure. Thanks to its bridges, this place has a romantic feel, and walks are unique in all seasons and weather. The reflections of the houses in the canals make the photos from this place almost unbelievable.

Cirrus S — Google review

Very lovely neighborhood to (quietly and politely) walk around in on a nice and sunny day. There’s so much to visually admire and/or photograph – the different styles and colors of the homes, the vibrant plant life, and the ducks in the canal. I can’t stress enough that since this is an actual neighborhood, you should be as respectful as possible when walking through it.

Felipe L — Google review

this is a cute neighborhood with a few surprises, like the wooden animal swings (not accessible though), and all the cute decor in people’s yards. this is a cool activity and a nice walk. however, walkways are very narrow, not great for big groups or big people lol, as well as disabled people as there is literally zero seating, not one bench. also you will not find parking that isn’t outrageously priced, after 15 minutes of looking i caved and paid $15 for parking 🤦🏻‍♀️ LA i swear

Charisma B — Google review

The Venice Canals are within a very nice upscale residential community that appeals to visitors! As part of the original namesake community in the Venice District of Los Angeles, the area has been a tourist attraction. Although developer Abbot Kinney intended the canals to be part of his Venice of America Project, it’s been kept residential low key with tourism, unlike the now commercialized and crowded Venice Beach nearby. It was built with a series of straight canals where residents can keep mini watercraft next to their homes and float around the block. Meanwhile, visitors can publicly view the separate canals as pedestrians via sidewalks from Washington Blvd. Dell Street crosses four rectangular islands of the canals between Washington Blvd and S. Venice Blvd. Here, van and smaller sized vehicles may cross the narrow bridges.Temporary public parking is available along Dell Street. Washington Blvd and S. Venice Blvd has metered street parking available.Being primarily residential, the canal area has no public restrooms. There’s a corner market store at Washington Blvd and Dell Ave. Restaurants are also nearby along Washington Blvd.

This is a living area. Is it very quiet. Venice beach is public.Beautiful place. It is a California’s Venice canals inspiration. It is near Santa Monica. Or 25 mins drive (20 miles) from Los Angeles center.

Carine — Google review

Beautiful view. It's nice to walk or run. There is good parking near the Venice Canal for $7 per day. It’s nice but don't expect anything special.

In the heart of Venice, just a couple of blocks from Venice beach is this charming hidden place , perfect for a sunny morning walk. Very quiet during week days.

My friend lives here, in a beautiful town with an interesting history.Watching the sunset while rowing a boat here is truly wonderful. However, the rent is too expensive, and life is not very convenient. Nonetheless, it's still nice to come here for sightseeing occasionally.

Each and every home is so unique and breathtaking. Definitely come check this place out. Don’t forget to romanticize your life when you walk around and imagine yourself living in the houses 🥰

Adorable area and nice loop to take a stroll.Enjoyed the pretty Christmas lights on our evening stroll. And in the morning, we had nice stroll as well enjoying the beautiful homes and their garden, and the view.

Hester P — Google review

The Venice Canals in Los Angeles are a beautiful embodiment of Italian charm right on the California coast. Strolling along these narrow waterways allows you to enjoy a unique atmospheric experience and discover stunning views and architectural wonders.

Bonnie K — Google review

This is a must see during the holidays. You will want to park on a side street in the area of the canals. It is a walk in to view these beautiful light displays. There are 4 canals with bridged walkways over them and there are walkways along each of the canals to enjoy the festive look and can even view some exquisite homes along the canals. The whole area is interconnected. I thoroughly enjoyed this and so glad that my husband found this for our family to enjoy.

Cindy B — Google review

After visiting LA for more than 30 yrs... I went aka visited this cute and beautiful little world for the first time. I also introduced it to my Uncle who lives here and never knew it existed! We could get lost walking the maze of pedestrian only paths and bridges and daydreaming of living in these gorgeous homes! Each have their own personality! It's a must!

Hamburger restaurant

The Win~Dow Venice Boardwalk is a casual eatery that serves burgers, fried chicken sandwiches, and grain bowls alongside shakes and ice cream. Located on the Venice Beach Boardwalk, it's surrounded by numerous street vendors, performers, restaurants, bars, juice spots and shops selling souvenirs like sunglasses and shirts. The boardwalk is also home to medical marijuana dispensaries and a considerable population of homeless people.

This place was recommended to us by a friend who said this had the best fried chicken sandwich. He was not exaggerating.Their chicken sandwich is not only affordable, but may indeed be the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had.First of all, they give a good slaw on this sandwich that is sweet and vinegary which is always what you need with something fried. They also put a nice, mild , tangy sauce on the buns. The buns are one of my favorites so soft and pillowy and made fresh. The chicken itself is incredible. Crispiest piece of chicken I’ve maybe ever had. Incredible flavor, super juicy on the inside, and again so crispy on the outside.I also got their cheeseburger which was amazing. If you like pickles, they load these up! They also use a potato bun which I really enjoy. The bun almost “melts” around the sandwich giving such a good bite of food that holds together. The beef itself is super well seasoned and a little charred to give a nice crunch.Come here for the best fried chicken sandwich you’ll ever have and an amazing cheeseburger!

Gourmand — Google review

You know what's better than tasty burgers? AFFORDABLE tasty burgers! thank you Win~Dow for this gastronomical delight at very reasonable prices. Expect a pretty long wait if you go during peak hours.

Dylan T — Google review

Not much to say other then if you enjoy a good burger you will enjoy it here. I order the double cheese burger and fries, looking forward to trying a milkshake next time.

Noah B — Google review

Cheese burger was good, but not to die for or enough for me to go back. Definitely feels fresh and I loved the bun that it comes in. It is a small burger, but prices are reasonable. The fries were okay. Service was immaculate.

Iris C — Google review

After hearing such great things about this spot I was excited to try! Very surprised and disappointed at how my burger came out. Looks like half is missing! Flavors were good, but meat to bread ratio ruined the experience.

Ashley M — Google review

The window on Venice boardwalk is a delightful place to eat a hamburger. Often mistaken for a tourist trap the window on Venice boardwalk serves delicious Smash Burger Style sandwiches. But with a slightly thicker burger patty. The dance between the meat in the sauce it's awesome. Thick cut pickles add a different mouthfeel to the whole thing. It's a must-try went on Venice boardwalk and I highly recommend.

J. B — Google review

Delicious and reasonably priced!Usually, food on the boardwalk is a tourist trap that is not tasty and expensive, but this was the complete opposite experience. Service was quick; burgers were juicy and fries were fresh. There is a section off to the side where you can sit and eat - we were able to watch the sunset while enjoying our meal. I will be back to try the other items. There was also a hand sanitizer pump by the pick up window.

Rose C — Google review

The rundown...good and soft smash burger kind of like shake shack's. The fries are crispy, but a little over done for my taste. Still good regardless. The lemonade is very good... Really refreshing but without being too sweet.Got that all for about ~$12 so it's a good deal in my opinion

Andrew G — Google review

As always, best smash burger in town! Quality is high for such a low price. Ingredients always feel fresh and the pickles are one of the best ever. Fries are irresistible and service is quick.

Park

Nature & Parks

The Palisades Park is a beautiful park located in Santa Monica that offers stunning ocean views. The trail runs along the edge of the bluff, with lush eucalyptus trees and palm trees dotting the landscape. The park is great for a stroll or to take in local nature and wildlife.

It's a nice park it was fun watching the squirrels play. I was able to get up really close to them like a ninja to get some good pictures. Also, it was nice to relax at night time by some of the bars across the street to listen to the awesome music and enjoy the crowds socializing with one another. The park has benches all along it, considering how narrow the park is. There are plenty of paths for walkers and bicyclists alike.

Robert ( — Google review

Views were incredible of Ocean and Beach. Park was filled with homeless and sheltered like urine. Not sure how locals could walk and run, but they just went about there business. Sad to see this once great place to go regularly as a kid turn into a mix of the extreme upper and lower financial groups. Guess if you're rich you don't have to see the problem as you drive your convertible Porches and Lambos.

Emmett S — Google review

Wonderful park. Large green area. Perfect for walks, jogging or dog walking. Great view over the ocean especially for sunsets. Very often you can see here musicians playing life music. It brings very nice ambience.I give four stars because towards the pier park isn’t that well maintained and cleaned.

Marta S — Google review

I truly enjoy residing just a few blocks away from this magnificent park. It offers a breathtaking vista of the Pacific Ocean and Malibu, along with scenic walking trails and secluded spots featuring benches and open spaces, ideal for practicing yoga with friends. Whether you prefer to bring your beloved dogs or your cherished children, bicycles or a delightful picnic lunch, this park caters to all preferences. Spanning approximately four to six blocks in length, it boasts two primary trails and a captivating flower garden situated on the northern side. A charming white fence gracefully borders the cliff, providing ample seating options for capturing the perfect sunset moment. Additionally, the gorgeous palm trees offer welcome shade during the day. This serene oasis is an absolute must-visit for anyone visiting our town.

Christy — Google review

Always worth a stroll if you’re in the area. Early mornings are calm but filled with runners. Evenings are a beautiful time to watch the sunset and the homeless nestled in for the night.

Brandon S — Google review

The narrow park is on a high land above the ocean. It has a tree lined walking path along Ocean Ave, and great viewpoints of the ocean. There are stairs to get down to the beach. The park is clean, there are, however, some homeless people loitering in the park.

Y? W — Google review

Beautiful view, great walking areas, separate for bikes and pedestrians which is a big plus. Very clean and calm. Looks safe too. Not too many people out when I came as the weather was a bit chilly.

Anastasia P — Google review

Parking after 6 pm on weekdays is free on the meters. Sunset time is spectacular and quite busy. Be sure to check out the rose garden.

Chris K — Google review

I was invited to the park to visit with a friend sister. We walked several long blocks and yet the park continued. We carried on further through more long blocks and steals the part continued. The past turn from payment to gravel and yet we trod on. All along the way gorgeous views from the bluffs stairways ascending and descending the cliffs and the Rose Garden.

Craig H — Google review

I visited here with family during some unseasonably cold weather in February . We bundled up on the only sunny day on my vacation and made our way through the park walkway . The views of the ocean were lovely . They have a huge issue with rodents here ....tons of squirrels and rats. They ran in and out of the shrubs looking for food from passersby. There are also many many many unhoused people laying in the grass , laying on the benches etc. This is not an area I would go to by myself ...I didn't feel safe.

Palisades Park is a tranquil retreat offering stunning views and a great dose of nature. The park is clean, spacious, and beautifully landscaped. Its cliff-top position provides awe-inspiring views over the surrounding areas, making it a perfect spot for photographers or anyone looking to enjoy a scenic panorama. The park is also home to well-kept walking trails, perfect for leisurely strolls or energizing runs. Seating areas and picnic spots are plentiful, making it a great destination for family outings. Overall, Palisades Park is a stunning outdoor escape from the city's hustle and bustle. Truly a must-visit!

Amin R — Google review

Palisades Park is often praised for its cleanliness, natural beauty, and serene atmosphere. Visitors enjoy the well-maintained surroundings, picturesque views, and peaceful environment that the park offers. It's a great place to unwind and connect with nature. Many people find the park's cleanliness and beauty to be its standout features.

SEYDANIC — Google review

The sidewalk is paved and separated for walking and biking. There are a few eateries but not many shops. Actual boardwalks to the beach. Parking can be expensive so it makes sense to spend time at the pier and shops. Enough public restrooms. Good areas nearby for dining and shopping.

B W — Google review

Beautiful, fun, shops and seaside talent... the BIG downside is all the "zombies" & "crazies" aka homeless that cover every part, especially the restrooms. Made me cringe and we left.

SB — Google review

This park quickly became a favorite for me to get a quick and beautiful morning jog in since moving to Los Angeles in August. Its so well maintained, safe, and offers picturesque views of the ocean the whole way. I just love it!!

Sarah W — Google review

Very beautiful park and 100% Californian due to the palm trees. From the park you have a beautiful view of the beaches, the Santa Monica Pier and Route 1.There are a lot of homeless people in the park, which can sometimes lead to unpleasant situations.

Great and beautiful park in Santa Monica. Great walking trail along with plenty of benches to sit on. The grass is well maintained and clean and great to sit and relax on. Plenty of bathroom and just a short walk from Santa Monica pier

Palisades Park is a must see. It overlooks Santa Monica Beach and has beautiful plants and trees. Breathe the fresh ocean air and enjoy a few peaceful moments. It is one of the few places I found in the LA area that is free. Great place to stop on your way to LAX.

A great place to walk, people watch, and enjoy the sunset. The parking wasn't bad, easy to find a space and not too expensive on a Friday afternoon.

Whenever I have showings in the area I like to stop by and take a 15 minute walk along the bluffs. It’s a great place to soak up some sun with fresh air and the nice sea breeze. The views are nice. Before moving to the Southbay I would jog along here and also come for the awesome sunsets quite often.

Museums

The Getty Museum is home to a vast and varied collection of art, ranging from ancient sculptures to modern paintings. The gardens are also popular with visitors, who can enjoy the lovely views while indulging in some delicious snacks or drinks at the on-site restaurant.

The Getty is one of the prettiest museums I’ve ever been to! The entrance is FREE but you do have to register online due to covid. Parking is $20 per vehicle but entrance per person is free. It is definitely worth it and the views are amazing! Their gardens are beautiful and the museums architecture is amazing! There is also these green areas were people just go and sit there to read a book or picnic! I could have stayed here the whole day! I went on a Friday early afternoon and there wasn’t a lot of people. So it was nice to enjoy it!

Luisa — Google review

Great museum with lot of amazing paintings from internationally renowned artists. The drive up the hill with the small „train“ is great fun, entry is free but good luck getting there without a car (parking available for a considerable fee). Narrow parking spaces underground. It’s a great place to just walk around and let your mind wander, beautiful views over LA as well.

The Getty Museum is an absolute gem, and is an experience that combines stunning views, serene surroundings, captivating art, and remarkable architecture. During my visit, I discovered a multitude of reasons to fall in love with this place.Sitting on top of a mountain offers gorgeous views and scenery that simply take your breath away. Finding a place to relax and unwind is never a challenge. With beautiful maintained lawns, gardens, water features and inviting benches scattered throughout the grounds, visitors can find tranquility. It's the perfect spot to sit back, soak up the sun, and revel in the beauty that surrounds you.One cannot help but be captivated by the art and architecture within the Getty Museum. The exhibits showcase an impressive collection spanning various eras and genres. From classical sculptures and Renaissance paintings to contemporary installations, each piece tells a unique story, inviting visitors to delve into the world of artistic expression.Exploring the museum's exhibits is a joy, as you have the freedom to stroll at your own pace. The convenience of the tram system for entering and exiting the museum is a thoughtful touch. Moreover, the fact that the Getty Museum offers free admission is commendable, as it provides access to art and culture for everyone. However, it's worth noting that parking does cost but the experience and the amenities provided make it a reasonable investment.I 1000% recommend visiting this place, I’ll be back for sure.

Misti Z — Google review

Amazing and huge museum. Can’t believe it’s free and even if it’s not- totally worth visiting. Parking fee is 20$ till 3pm and later it’s 15$. It was bit crowded when we visited, it took lot of time for parking so I’d recommend to plan visit accordingly. It has a great collection of European art, well maintained gardens, galleries and many more. Beautiful architecture. Very well designed and maintained. It’s built on a hill, from parking you can walk all the way to museum main entrance or they also have trains. It also has amazing views of LA from top. We had reserved it in advance however they were admitting people without reservations. Must visit place when in LA.

Anaya P — Google review

I have come at least 7 times since it’s close to my job. It’s so nice to see all the art but don’t expect to be able to finish it all within 4 hours. I think it would take a whole day to complete but that sounds awesome to me because all the art is so beautiful. Especially the French area. Love the gift shop and found my new favorite tea there. Anytime friends want to know something to do, I always recommend going here. Took my husband for his first time there as well. Great date, adventure, or just study and chill location. They have a cafe that has foods like sandwiches and chips as well as some sweet treats. They also serve beer/wine if that’s your thing. There are also 2 other restaurants on the premises but when I went it was a very limited menu so I didn’t end up trying anything. According to the servers the portions are about the size of a baby bowl but for the price of a feast yet also mediocre quality. So I personally don’t recommend but if you really want the Beverly Hills experience and to feel fancy, I’d recommend other places than this restaurant. However it doesn’t change my opinion on the museum itself. I never bought or reserved a ticket and never had issues going in. They always say that next time I will need to reserve but I’ve gone so often without doing that so go at your own risk if you don’t want to reserve a ticket.

Jade — Google review

Amazing place to spend time with your kids! I do admit that a 4 year old boy doesn’t really go with viewing art. But the Getty offers wide open park, where you can run around, let them explore in the safe environment. The admission is free but parking is $20. Do make sure to pack your own drinks and light meals like sandwiches because food there is quite expensive. Coming back definitely!!!

Sun K — Google review

Visited Getty with my wife and young son of 3 months with a stroller. The views are fantastic and the architecture is lovely to stroll around and enjoy on your visit. The art work house at the Getty is great too.. We visited the cafe for a short snack and they had basic options salad, sandwiches etc.. I would probably recommend bringing some snacks as you could spend hours up there and food options although good quality were limited. But the photos were well worth it! I was surprised that entrance for me and the wholeFamily was free excluding the $20 for parking.

Byron G — Google review

Great art installation with immaculate grounds. The outdoor garden isn’t very big, but combined with the sweeping views it is awesome! Plenty of places to sit with shade to enjoy a nice day. The cafe outside near the entrance had a wonderful breakfast burrito plus many breakfast options if you decide to head over earlier than opening.

Justin B — Google review

This place is simply amazing! There is plenty of parking but it does get very busy. The architecture and artwork is beautiful. The view is great. I would recommend you go to this place two hours before sunset so you get to see this place with light and nighttime. On your way back to the parking lot. I would walk down instead. The stroll is actually nice. Without a doubt you have to check this place when you are in the Los Angeles area!

Marion N — Google review

Great museum to spend the day. Free entry and located near the beach. You do need to pay for parking ($25 when we visited) and they do have several locations for electric vehicles to charge (without any extra payment needed). I had reserved free tickets the day before, but I don't think it's necessary... I would recommend reserving a time slot though, just in case (it's free anyways). It doesn't take too long to walk through the majority of it (maybe 2 hours at a leisurely pace, 3+ if you take it really slow). There are both indoor and outdoor sections to the museum. Plenty of places to stop and rest as you go. They do check your bag, but I was able to take in water and snacks. Reception isn't great, and the free wifi was incredibly spotty for me (hopefully this improves).Definitely recommended for anyone interested in ancient Greek/Roman art/history. There's also a "Percy Jackson" audio tour, although I only heard part of it. I personally prefer the "other" Getty museum (I prefer painting to sculpture), but this one is definitely worth a visit as well.

Javier B — Google review

The architecture of this building is gorgeous and the gardens are stunning. There are coffee shops here or you could do a little picnic on the garden. The entrance to the museum is free but you will have to reserve tickets online. Parking for the day is $15. There are busses that will take you from the entrance after security checks to the exhibition halls or you could also take a nice slow walk up the slope. The museum has lovely collection. You can spend the whole day here wondering through the collections and reading through his biography, grab a nice sandwich and coffee and just enjoy the garden.

Annette G — Google review

Awesome cultural experience overall. Great mix of art and culture in four pavilions of two floors, including paths to incredible outdoor scenes and vistas to Los Angeles County and the Pacific Ocean. Beautiful outdoor gardens showcasing a variety of fauna. A beautiful day under the sun and inside galleries.I don't know what's more inspiring, the artwork or the views!

Alex G — Google review

Always an enjoyable experience visiting The Getty! They still require a reservation or timed-ticket entries at the time of this writing, but it was no hassle, just present it and you'll proceed through the line. I liked the Still life paintings, a lot of detail goes into it, reminds me of my art classes I took when I was younger except they were charcoal black/white drawings, dealing with colors is a whole another level. The outdoor panoramic views of Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean to the west were spectacular. Went during the evening and watching the sunset was nice and gave the museum building a nice golden hue. Thanks for a great time!

Sam T — Google review

Absolutely beautiful place to visit, amazing architecture, grassy areas to relax or have a picnic in the sun. The tram ride up is beautiful as well. They always have different museum exhibits going on. I happened to go on a day they had a special exhibit showcasing the Black community and culture. I really loved it! And the best part is it's always free to come. If you are visiting LA this should definitely be on your list of places to visit!

JoyMeetsWorld — Google review

Wow! Definitely worth the visit. Park in the main garage and just follow the crowd for the free tram to transfer you the Getty museum. The tram ride is frequently so no worries. Once at the Getty first enjoy the incredible views. Than visit the expositions. Worth a day’s visit.

So much to see both in the gardens and the inside exhibits. You can easily make a day of it. Lots of elevators and bathrooms. There is a cafe and restaurant on site. If you want to go to the restaurant make sure you make a reservation because they do limit walk-ins. Free museum admission that you should reserve ahead of time, but parking was $20.

One for adults or children over the age of 12yrs. Amazing views of Santa Monica and L.A in the distance. Beautiful buildings and gardens. cool and fancy art. Great iconic tram ride and its Free. you only need to pay for parking and make sure you BOOK AHEAD, as there's no on the gate tickets. Freeway traffic can be well typically californian so give yourself plenty of time to arrive and park within your allocated time slot.Epic location.

Absolutely stunning property with beautiful architecture and views overlooking LA. The museum had a nice variety of exhibits that change periodically. We spent a total of 2.5 hours there but could have easily spent much more time! It’s recommended to register online for timed entry and a number of people did not know to do so but it wasn’t an issue.

This museum is truly an incredible place to visit. Honestly some of the exhibits were closed for maintenance or something but the architecture and views are really what is worth your time. Wandering around the gardens is fantastic and the tram to the museum from parking is really lovely. Definitely worth it. But also reserve your entry time. Tickets are free but you need to reserve entry time and have proof of vaccination.

Fun little tram ride up to the entrance of the Museum. It was very interesting seeing all the historical art inside, and the staff were very friendly. The outdoor areas were beautiful and had fantastic views into Los Angeles. All of this for the fantastic price of $0. Would highly recommend, even for those who just want to go for the views.

Not only is this fantastic and art-rich museum free, it is also one of the best places to visit in Los Angeles! Many different types of art including sculptures and paintings by some of the best painters in the whole world! Had a fantastic time here, and totally worth a visit if you are in LA. Attached pictures are the views from the museum itself.

This museum is FREE. Parking depends on how long you're in the museum but the max is $20.The tram takes you up to the museum from the parking structure is free and less than 5 minutes. This museum is HUGE. I'd recommend to wear comfortable, shoes, a hat, a water bottle, and some snacks to save money. All the artworks are indoors but you do have to go outside to get to other buildings for more artworks. And, should definitely check out the garden. The artworks are separated by different areas and time periods. They provide umbrella for shade or for the rain which I found interesting.Took around 4 hours with no tour guidance to walk around and (hopefully) see everything.I want to add that you can bring big backpacks, but just have them in front of you to prevent any accidents.

For the price of parking your car ($20) you get to see some truly stunning and incredibly valuable art. And if you arrive by bus I guess it's free!Well organized tram up the hill. Galleries were not too crowded.Great views over LA on clear days.

Revisiting the Getty Museum was an absolutely awe-inspiring experience. The picturesque views from this hilltop location have the power to amaze anyone who visits. The architectural masterpiece that is the Getty Museum is a testament to human genius. It gracefully blends elements of the ancient world with a modern touch and a futuristic aesthetic, creating a harmonious fusion of art, culture, and innovation. It's worth noting that to truly appreciate all that the Getty has to offer, it's essential to allocate sufficient time for your visit. Unfortunately, my recent visit was limited by time constraints, but I'm already planning to head back at the earliest opportunity, perhaps during a holiday, to explore it more thoroughly.I must also extend my heartfelt appreciation to all the dedicated staff at the Getty Museum, who contribute to making this place a treasure trove of art and knowledge. Special kudos go to our enthusiastic tour guide, whose passion and expertise enriched our visit and added depth to our understanding of the museum's incredible collection. This revisit to the Getty has left an indelible mark, and I eagerly anticipate my next chance to immerse myself in its wonders.

Free ticket. Should book ticket 2-3 days in advance if you plan to visit on weekend. Plenty of parking space but it’ll cost you $20 for the whole day. It gets really traffic inside during weekend evening, so try to leave a bit early than others would be great. The arts were super varied. Check the map in advance to find your area pf interest and spend time there. The garden is beautiful, hot, and scenic spot, so don’t forget to spare some time for that

The museum is free to go, but they charge you $25 for parking. They ask you to reserve beforehand the entrance on their website. The place is amazing. The buildings are impressive, super clean, and well taken care of.The staff is really helpful and nice. You can walk all the buildings, and each one has different things, some paints, others' sculptures, etc.

Enjoying spring break, I found myself here hanging out with family. To get into the Getty museum took a bit of patience as the traffic was heavy during rush hour. Nevertheless, we had a good time. Parking ($25.) was not too bad even for the 5th floor. Spaces were close to the elevators and wearing comfortable shoes (not sneakers) made the trip worthwhile. Every into the museum is free and the staff was very friendly and a few were willing to explain some of the exhibits that were on hand. There is also a cafe on the premises to purchase snacks. One of our family members was in a wheelchair, but we managed quite well through the exhibits. Parking varies depending on time of day you visit and there's plenty to see for a lovely cultural visit. After about 5 hours, we were able to see everything and called it a day. Would definitely go back to check out the gardens and water features again. 👌

Visited the Getty Center on a Saturday. Parking is $25 and there are 7 subterranean levels. Admission is free but we did make a reservation in advance. Our entry time was 2 PM. We had no problems parking- was even able to snag a charging station which is on P5. After parking you take a nice tram up. Wait time was less than 5 minutes. After exiting the tram you walk up these steps into the museum. Did a lot of exploring and visited a lot of the different exhibits in several buildings. Saw beautiful paintings, sculptures, art installations, furniture, etc. The most beautiful were the areas outdoors. The weather was nice (in the low 70s) and several terraces on the buildings had beautiful views of LA. The outdoor gardens and water feature were probably my favorite. The flowers are in full bloom and so colorful. There was a nice grassy area where people were just sitting around and enjoying the scenery. The kids had a great time rolling down the small hill.

Absolutely amazing place. Guides are so passionate about the work they do. Garden tour was fabulous. A must visit place to enjoy the artwork. Although, did not find the Exhibition Blood/ Medieval/Modern as interesting.

It's such a beautiful place to visit! A ton to see and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. It is free to get in but $25 to park. Well worth it. My kids loved looking at the art and sculptures. We were there for hours. You do have to schedule your visit online first.

One of a kind. Breathtaking. Time charming. Extravagent. Extraordinary. Great Grande Getty. A must see. All the arts (pictures, canvas, statue, sculpture) are well kept and protected. We understand more about the past and look forward to the future with preservation and precaution. I had only 1 hour to visit before closing but fortunately made it through 3 buildings with medieval & renaissance themes. I would like to go back here with family.

Honestly, my second favorite art museum behind the MET in New York. There's a wide variety of classical art, some contemporary art, and honestly the museum just has a wide variety of art in general. However, where the museum truly shines is it's outdoor architecture. The design of the museum is also part of the art. What else is part of the art? The great elevated views of LA! Though the MET has a larger variety of historic art, The Getty by far has the best outdoor areas of any art museum I've been to!

Greater N — Google review

I don't understand art, but I still came to take a look. I was not disappointed. The items inside surprised me. It's very big and it takes about three hours to visit. If you are not in a hurry, you can bring some food and drinks and enjoy it slowly. There are many beautiful flowers in the garden, which you can enjoy and take pictures! It is worth a visit. Parking is $25 per time.

Busy for a Saturday but that is expected. Plenty of parking spots at P5 or lower. If you have big cars try not to park in the compact spaces unless you want to get your car dinged by others as those spaces are small and cramped even for sedans. Views are amazing on sunny days but we caught a foggy day. Entry took around 30 minutes.

Lovely. It is Free to go other than $15 for parking. Which is in a big parking garage. They have a nice train that takes you up & down to the museum from your car. The view is gorgeous of the city from up there with stunning gardens. Just loved seeing all the flowers, hummingbirds, & people enjoying themselves. The art was very well lit. I've been to Many museums & this one has to be the best in the States. Some you can barely see the art with glare. It was a lovely time, the whole experience was a wonderful experience. We had a nice date.

Impressive building with collections from Renaissance to impressionism and a few neo classical as well as photography exhibits. Enjoyed walking around the vast property with cafes, outdoor seating and amazing views of the LA area. The tickets are free but you need to reserve a spot, or else you have to return back. Parking is around $25 and there is a tram which takes you to the museum main entrance. After which you can explore on your own or book a tour guide. Great place to spend a full or half day exploring.

One of the most breathtaking museums around, the atmosphere surrounding the museum is just as magnificent as the artwork inside. You definitely need a full day here, as there are many wings and gardens to explore. We were very lucky because it was a full moon that night and the sunset was beautiful. This is a must on your travels. Enjoy

This place is unreal. The architecture. The gardens. The views. The art. Everything is just beautifully curated. The employees are very helpful. You park in the parking garage and then take a shuttle up the hill to the museum. The main entrance building is open and spacious. They have places to charge your phone and an amazing gift shop. There are multiple buildings for different time periods. There are gorgeous gardens to wander. The art is stunning. We only spent 2 hours there but I could have spent much longer. Also, they have a guide for kids. I didn't see that until we left.

Amazing place! What a gift to the community/public. Beautiful grounds, good art, and solid rotating exhibits! The gardens are lovely, and open to play in. The tram is great, and would be a treat at sunset! Staff is friendly and helpful. They have complimentary strollers, umbrellas and other helpful items. Food in the cafe is solid, but nothing too special. Admission is free, just book a reservation online. Plenty of parking in the structure; about $25 for 3 hours. Less than an hour, no charge. Plenty of gift shops in the various wings/galleries. Highly recommend going right at opening (10am) for a smooth and easy visit!Kid friendly. Next to the amazing UCLA campus! Great to visit again and again with the new exhibits!

The Getty Center is a beautiful location for a museum with gorgeous landscape. You pay one price for a carload of people for parking with access to all the museums. A restaurant is on the property so you can stay all day. The artwork curated for the museum is usually smaller collections but it is worth it because these are the pieces you are dying to see. The modern architectural design of the buildings with the beautiful landscape make this a iconic location.

The Getty Museum in Los Angeles is an absolute gem and a must-visit for anyone in the area. The architecture and gardens are stunning, offering breathtaking views of the city. The collection of art is diverse and impressive, featuring everything from classical sculptures to modern masterpieces. The museum is incredibly well-organized, and the exhibits are thoughtfully curated. The audio guides and informative placards provide great context for the pieces on display. The staff are friendly and eager to help, enhancing the overall experience. One of the highlights is the Central Garden, which is beautifully maintained and a perfect spot for a leisurely stroll. The museum's layout makes it easy to navigate, and there are plenty of spots to sit and take in the surroundings.Best of all, admission is free, although parking does come with a fee. The Getty Museum offers an enriching cultural experience that’s both accessible and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Extraordinary place, phenomenal architecture, wonderful garden, wide views and beautiful collections in an amazing design. This place has a great vibe, you can spend hours studying everything they have here. Here you will also find a bistro and a cafe, many interesting corners where you will lose track of time. This place belongs to all art lovers. However, the journey here is also exceptional, thanks to the Getty Center Tram you can get here quickly and easily from your car. The museum is free of charge, you pay for parking only.

The Getty Center in Los Angeles is a gem in So. California. It is an architectural masterpiece located at the top of a hill overlooking a 360-degree view of Los Angeles. Included in this museum, you will find art from the Renaissance period, Italian art, glass sculptures, medieval furniture, and so much more. Their collection is exquisite, and the Getty has changing exhibitions frequently. In addition, there is a botanical and succulent garden overlooking the San Fernando Valley, which takes your breath away. During the recent visit I attended in May, the vast array of flowers was at its peak. One could spend three hours admiring the blooms and scenery outside the buildings. You can not do it justice by writing here how beautiful the Getty is to the attendees visiting there. There is a nice cafe in the courtyard, fine dining, and a coffee and sandwich cart in two different areas of the courtyard. The hours are Tues-Fri 10:00-5:30 p.m. Sat 10:00-9:00 p.m. Advanced reservations are required. It is free to the public. Parking inside the museum is $25.00. The best way to go is by Lyft or public transportation.

The Getty Center is a great venue, whether you are there entertaining out of town guests or there to enjoy it with locals. Th gardens are beautiful, a truly peaceful setting that incorporates art into the environment. The massive art collection, along with the transient exhibits will keep your attention for hours. It is best to devote an entire day to get the full experience.

The Wat Thai temple in Los Angeles is a place of worship where people from all over come to pray and eat. The prices have increased, but it's inflation so it wasn't a surprise. The food was great and the service was friendly.

Get the fried banana and meat ball on a stick because they are amazing here. I haven't stop by this Thai Temple in years but it all changed today. I wanted to get some food for my fiancée to try so I came here with my sister and parents. They have more parking than before because the old gas station is gone and they took that space for parking spots. We came around 9am and most of the food places were open. I got the Mango with sticky rice, fried banana, meatball on a stick, Thai Tea, their green dessert and the banana leaves wrapped with sticky rice and banana inside. The prices did increase but it's inflation so it wasn't a surprise. I got charge extra when I asked for no ice on the Thai Tea so I was surprise about that.

I had a delightful experience at Wat Thai Temple today. The culinary offerings were exquisite! The mango sticky rice was a highlight, with its rich flavors and textures. The crab yellow curry noodles were great. The pork belly skewers were outstanding, and the Thai tea was a refreshing finish to the meal. Each dish was carefully prepared and bursting with flavor. If you have an appreciation for Thai cuisine, a visit is a must. Don’t forget to bring cash because you have to buy tokens for the food.

very nice Thai style temple. looks very similar to the ones I saw in Chiang Mai (Thailand). they had several food tents but all of them have been closed, most probably because of covid. after covid I will come again as what I read the food is very good :)

First of all, let me just say that as far as Thai temples go, my experience is pretty limited. Having said that, I liked this temple, the property, the food, people, and everything this location has to offer. My wife (Thai) enjoyed our visit, so that was enough for me.

One of those “hidden treasures” of living in LA. Every Sat/Sun outdoor food vendors. Really takes me back to when we lived in south east Asia. Food was very good, people were friendly and tent to provide some much needed shade. Most entrees are $8-$10 and you need to exchange cash for plastic tokens to pay. Definitely planning to go back and try some more food

OMG best authentic Thai/Chinese food can be found here. Only available during the weekend, most serving is about $5, Asian portion, not American portions mind you, so you get to try out different items. My cravings are papaya salad, especially on hot summer days, the fried potatoes balls, yams, and bananas are definitely a crowd pleaser, the batter they used is ahmazing!I believe they switch vendors every weekend, you can't go wrong with pad Thai, pad see ewe, and my favorite is the buffet style stall, it's not all you can eat, you can select 2 items with rice or alacarte for $5! Can't beat that, and oh so delicious, especially the pork in dark sauce. They really like it when you bring your own pyrex, Tupperware or containers. The only slight inconvenience is you have to swap cash for tokens to purchase food, it's like a mini fare every weekend, absolutely love it! We usually get the food to go and buy extra for lunch next day, we don't particularly enjoy the open/like karaoke with loud speakers, it's fun in the beginning but can get annoying after a while hahaParking can be also inconvenient if you arrive later in the day, it's usually within the temple but can spill out to the nearby residential neighborhood. Come early so you'll be in and out in a jiffy, or not!

Wide variety of foods and desserts and drinks. Love the Thai tea and BBQ sticks. Family enjoy all the variety of foods as well. Kids enjoyed the tokens for each store front eatery instead of cash. You will need to bring cash to exchange for tokens. Thai temple great sight to see.

It has been years since visiting LA Thai temple, I wanted to check out food court. I bought fresh Fried dough and coconut cakes. Exchanged money for their plastic coins. It is not cheap but part of money will go to temple. I went around 8:30 am when they just opened, parking space was easy to find but space was very compact. I did not have a chance to try food. Vendors were friendly. There are tables for eating.

We came here during a Thai holiday so apparently it was much more crowded than usual. So things like having trouble finding a seat or some of the restaurants running out of certain food items may be a non-issue other times of the year. All in all it’s a very cool experience. We did just fine with street parking and walking a little. We also really enjoyed looking at the beautiful temple and grounds. When it comes to the food - everything was very good. I would highly recommend the papaya salad it’s made to order and you can get a sweeter la spicier version to your liking. We were able to watch as they ground together the chilies and sugar and tossed it with the papaya and vinegar. The chicken satay was very good as well. Next time, we would like to get there earlier so we can try more foods.Lastly they do function on a token system but it’s very easy to get more and we barely had to wait in line - even as crowded as it was the day we went. So if you’re new out about having leftover tokens don’t be afraid to get a smaller exchange and just go back for more later on.

Loved to experience the temple and the weekend food market from 8-5pm. It totally was filling and many other food spots , really good. Holy, the coconut cakes were so amazingly sweet and so good!!!! Parking is pretty full - street parking yes- cash only for tokens. Food was very affordable.

Absolutely loved spending the afternoon at the street food fair with friends over a Sunday afternoon. Brought my dog cos it’s also dog friendly and that was so nice. The food is just incredible and so well priced. Lots of vegan options you just have to ask them including the famous Thai coffee I love was served with almond milk. It’s a great thing to do as a couple, family, alone or a friend group. Energy is lovely here as expected. Remember to bring enough cash to buy the tokens!

Nature & Parks

The Japanese Garden, located near the Sepulveda Basin on the border of Van Nuys, is a serene oasis featuring traditional elements such as ponds, bridges, and stone arrangements. The 6.5-acre garden includes a Zen meditation garden, a wet-strolling garden, and a tea garden. Despite its proximity to an industrial area and water reclamation plant, the garden offers a peaceful escape with well-kept paths winding around a central pond.

Overall Zen Experience - 5⭐!One of the many things I love about living in LA, are the countless hidden gems all over the city. I have lived here over 20 years and I still find new and interesting things to do all the time. A great example of a hidden gem that I wish more people would discover is the completely free The Japanese Garden in the Lake Balboa area of the valley. While my recent visit was not my first time here, it was the first time I've been back since I left Sherman Oaks. A fact I find interesting about the site is that it uses reclaimed water from the nearby water treatment facility. You may even notice an interesting odor while entering. The Japanese Garden is part of the really large Lake Balboa park area. While it doesn't have the hills of Griffith Park or other areas, it is a nice place to explore. There are areas for sports and in the spring and summer, on the weekend, the fields are full of all kinds of players. I've even seen cricket players out there doing their thing.Even with everything going on around it, The Japanese Garden is a lovely place. It is not a large garden and you can explore the entire area within about 15 minutes. It is thoughtfully designed and has some unique elements where they were able to combine traditional Japanese garden elements with some unique architecture. There is a tea house but I do not think they serve tea there. There are lots of places to sit and relax. There is an abundance of birds. There is a check in booth, I'm assuming so they don't let too many people in at once. Everyone who works with the park is friendly and helpful. The grounds are very well maintained, not just from a garden perspective and they even have their own parking lot so you don't need to hike all the way over from the main park.It is a lovely way to relax and unwind. And it is free. I highly recommend it.

First time visiting. I was told that pre-Covid, there would be upwards of 2200 visitors in one day! Now with this reservation system, only 5 groups of no more than 5 in a group are allowed in at a time for every hour, so it literally felt like we were the only ones there most of the time.Such a nice, serene place! Our toddler had a great time checking out the fish and ducks/geese. Great way to spend an hour of your day!

I have to book appointment online. No entrance fee required at this time. I got to visit last week June 8th. The place is getting a landscape renovation. The gift shop, Tea house and visitor center are still closed. However, I enjoyed seeing the birds, ducks, fish, peaches, bamboo trees, ferns, lotus plants, and the mini waterfalls. Will visit again maybe in the fall.

My gf and I have been meaning to visit The Japanese Garden for a while, but with the limited hours, it’s been hard since we both work during the day. Finally had the chance to visit on Thursday June 30th and unfortunately, it didn’t really live up to expectations.Pros:The hours. They’re only open M-Thursday from 10-3:30pm. That can be a good thing for some, so when you do come, there aren’t an abundance of families or children crowding the grounds. No charge for admissionThe wildlife. There’s ducks, geese, plenty of birds, some fish (I only saw one colorful koi however) and even two what I believe are great blue heron.Cons:The hours. It makes it rather difficult to stop by if you have a “normal” daytime job. Tickets are very strict and you only have an hour to walk the grounds. We didn’t even need that much. We were in and out in 30 minutes. The grounds were undergoing some renovations and some of the path / buildings were blocked off, so they were rather unimpressive. Perhaps they would be better once that work was completed, but it was rather disappointing.

Very beautiful and peaceful. Loved all the flora and the animals and fish that were there. Whole visiting they had half of the garden under construction but that didn't distract or disturb the atmosphere present in the garden.

The place is beautiful, but the security guard is very rude and will follow you around for your entire trip. They also will yell at you if you sit on a rock or step off the path. For such a peaceful place you would think the security would be kind and at least polite when telling you the rules. The place is great however, wonderful picture spots and scenery. The gardeners did a wonderful job.We will never be coming here again due to how we were treated unfortunately.

This place is absolutely beautiful. I’m a huge fan and avid frequenter of Japanese gardens, and botanical gardens in general, and was very impressed by the size and layout of this one. It is very well-kept and honestly it was not crowded at all when we went. I believe they cap it at 15 people per hour so it’s easy to have a very quiet stroll alone or with someone you care about. There are waterfalls, small islands, bodegas to sit in, geese walking around, and all sorts of wonderful things to see. Parking is extremely easy and plentiful. All around a really nice experience and I plan to be back in the future.

Garden looked beautiful but website showed garden was open to public for viewing. Unfortunately gates are closed so didn’t have access to walk through the gardens. There is an above path that you can peer down and so I took a few photos. But other than that you can’t experience the garden. The cultural centre had the doors were closed so no one offered assistance which was also unfortunate.

A beautiful place with a lot of trees, bushes, flowers, birds, ducks and fish. You can enjoy nature and plunge into the beauty of the Japanese garden. I recommend visiting with children, but without dogs. The entrance is free.

It was my first time visiting this place and I was a bit disappointed as I was not able to see all of the garden. Part of the garden was closed to the public as they were working or giving maintenance to it. But the part I was able to see looked nice. I love nature, so I couldn't miss a chance to visit this place. Will visit again on a future day and hopefully the whole garden will be accessible to the public by then.

Rogelio C — Google review

A hidden gem in the valleys! reservations can be made online but make sure you pick a day ahead of time because they get booked pretty fast. There’s plenty of parking space in front of the Japanese garden entrance. You have to show the security by the gate your reservation to gain access. I’ll be coming back again to see the two houses that are currently closed for reconstruction.

Such a lovely, calming place. Prepare to be amazed and be absorbed in nature. The sights are beautiful. The atmosphere and sounds are really inviting (except for the planes flying above). I went to the gardens in the morning from 9:30am to 12pm. We were about five people walking around the gardens. It was so peaceful and nurturing. The weather was perfect... except that at the time, some sections of the garden were closed off due to ongoing construction work. Other than that, it was rewarding. I am happy I went.

Rehema A — Google review

It’s a lovely little garden. I guess I didn’t realize prior to coming how little it is. That’s probably my bad. Had I tempered my expectations and known it was a half hour stroll, it would have been a 5 star visit. But since it took an hour to drive here for a half hour walk… well it seems a little less worthy. Still lovely- especially if you are in the area.

The front gate security is aggressive. It would helpful if they were nice. It’s a garden not a prison. She demanded to know why I was there and why I was alone. She wanted to search my car. I said no. She said she would keep her eye on me and not to touch anything or she would call the police. Very weird. This place is free. If you want to treat people like garbage charge them money. This is also a sewage plant so it smells.

We loved this place. It was beautiful and peaceful. Very serene. Nice place for a date. Makes you forget you're in LA.

this is a chill place It's got these awesome Japanese vibes with cool trees and stuff. You can just walk around, check out the plants, and maybe find a sweet spot to relax by the water. It's a pretty kew spot to escape the noise and just vibe out

Parking: free with entryEntry: free and by reservation only.Better than expected! Not the greatest Japanese garden in California but definitely top 10, would rank maybe 4 or 5!When you first go in the garden you get hit by a strong waft or chemical and it looks very plain but the back of the garden is great and very well done! Water is clear, tons of different types of birds, more than I have seen next door at the Lake Balboa.Highly recommend

Lovely but small. Took maybe 30 minutes to walk through it.

Gorgeous snowy day. The road up is fairly narrow and winding; more than a couple of people had minor accidents, so be careful and cautious as you drive up. The snowy winter time is just as nice as the cool summer hikes. All seasons here are wonderful.

Beautiful place. My legs are sore from all that walking but it was worth it. Loved it.

Such a beautiful drive , however becareful in winter with snow melting can cause black ice .

Maybe the worst experience of my 60plus years of camping. Nothing on website said most of park was closed and nothing available for trailers. Get all the way to end where road is blocked off and have Nightmare getting turned around. No signs posted about trailers!! Don (with county) tried to help, bless his heart. We finally worked our way out, but what a fiasco! Will not be back. Too bad. It was pretty up there.

Most awful vacation experience of my life by far. Leaving in the middle of the night because the surrounding campers are drunk, blasting mariachi music all night, building huge fires they leave on all night, and walking up to our tent shining lights into it so we can't sleep. Ranger came and talked to them during the day but obviously didn't accomplish much. The ranger station is not answering the phone tonight. Officially not slept in 48 hours. Getting out of here before my husband catches a case.

Absolute gorgeous hike with a beautiful view at the top. The last .88 miles was incredibly steep but well worth it! Not quite a casual hike but I'm very happy I went!

We participated in a group campout, and the cabin was clean, the newer showers and restrooms are a good thing. Need some new tables in the mess hall. Overall a good experience. The horseshoe pit is a hit with the guys too.
