MORTON GROVE, IL – A hit-and-run driver fatally collided with a bicyclist near Dempster St and Lehigh Ave on Tuesday, according to WGN 9.

The driver hit the victim around 10:15 a.m.

Rescue crews transported the victim to an area hospital, where they died.

Officials have not released the victim’s name.

The Morton Grove Police Department and the Major Crash Assistance Team are investigating the incident.
